Who got voted off American Idol 2011 Season 10

Wow, guys. The auditions are FINALLY over.  I swear if I hear another sob story or see another montage I’m going to SCREAM!!!  So, what better way to cap off the audition segment? An entire episode of sob stories and montages!

Here’s  a look at tonight’s best and worst:

Best:

Jessica Furney: She tried out last year, but she’s back this year and better than ever. She’s dropped some weight picked a song very close to the judges’ hearts, or at least Simon’s, who co-wrote the tune. She sounds great, much better than the clip of her from last year, and I love the glasses! Hope we see more from this girl.

Amanda Schectman: She had a beautiful voice, but that wasn’t the only voice she had up her sleeve. She did a wicked Britney Spears, and she could even talk with her mouth closed! A theater major, the judges worried she might be too much of an “actress”, but they sent her through.

Lacey Brown:  Lacey Brown kind of looks exactly like what it would look like if Danielle Fischel (aka Topanga) and Kate of Jon and Kate Plus 8 had a kid. She was in the top 50 last year, but when it came down to her or Megan Joy, Megan Joy was chosen to CAW! CAW! her way to the top. I thought she had a sound very similar to Megan’s, but I liked it. I liked Megan, too…I just couldn’t handle her little shuffle-dance.

Michael Lynch:  He was a total beefcake with arms as big as me. His voice was okay, and he was rumored to be in the Top 24, but apparently, his father couldn’t keep it a secret and tipped off the local news, so he was cut. Or so that’s the rumor.

Didi Benami: Didi had a face like Brooke White and a voice like Megan Joy, also like Lacey Brown.  Her BFF died four years ago, which made me roll my eyes because it was another sob story, but seriously it is really sad that someone died so young and pretty.  I thought Didi was a great singer though and can’t wait to hear more from her. She was my favorite of the night.

Aaron Kelly:  Average voice, average looks, phenomenal eyebrows.  He’s just a kid though, so there’s potential there. It’s hard to make an opinion from one audition, anyway.

Hope Johnson:  She was 16, and she was poor.  She talked about how her parents had seven kids, but they couldn’t afford to feed them, so she would save her lunch and give it to her little brother.  And that kind of infuriates me.  I’m sorry, but if you do not have the means to provide for children, why keep having them?  A condom is much cheaper than a HUMAN BEING.  But anyway, she was naturally gorgeous and had an okay voice.

The Worst:

Beautiful Man Flower, aka Adrian Chandtchi:  Four words:  Antony and the Johnstons.  Antony would have never survived the audition round, either.

Stephanie Fisher: This was her seventh try at the American Idol audition table, and she should have gotten the hint after her third rejection. She was horrible and very tan.

Sheddhai Harris: They made it seem like she was going to be good, since she was pretty and they were talking to her mom. But alas, Sheddhai was about as tonedeaf as one gets.  There’s always spokes-modeling, chick.

Kimberly Bishop: She was either stoned or burnt out from being stoned, and she had some wicked glitter eyeshadow like Glitter Girl herself.  She did a HORRID version of “I Kissed a Girl” by Katy Perry and flashed her lady parts during her audition. I think Simon liked it, because he said he was going to give her a “yes”.  The rest of the judges thought she was “too naughty” for Idol.  Oh, come on, guys…isn’t that how all the Idol winners get through?
