What do you watch now that American Idol is Over?
Awe the dreaded down time from Mid May until Mid January when American Idol is not on our TV sets 2 to 3 times a week. So what are we to do with ourselves? We miss the drama, the excitement, and voting and the speculation.
Are we getting that from America’s Got Talent? Are we glued to So You Think You Can Dance? or are we just shutting down the tube and grilling burgers and hot dogs on the patio, swatting bugs and consuming our favorite adult beverages?
Unfortunately there is no other TV show during the Off Idol Season summer programming that can hold our insatiable interests. Several previews of weird Japanese style torture game shows seem to be coming to our TV sets shortly, but watching out of shape adults get pummeled, trampled, slimed, and humiliated while maneuvering through Human mazes can only hold my interest for a few minutes.
Didn’t we get enough of that on Americas Funniest Home Videos or do we need the semi – Live taped delayed version of the “Jones” ( as in keeping up with the Jones) being squashed, bumped and bruised.
What am I to do?
Not sure, but I am willing to put money that the Chubby Guy is THE MOLE and at least I was Correct in my assumptions that John Locke was in the Casket on LOST.
At least I got my tickets to one of the American Idol Live concerts near me, so I can a t least Live somewhat in the past, and dream of new season come January.
If you got any suggestions to help me out of my IDOL Addiction or any type of TV methadone to carry me though the summer months leave me a comment. Help a Brother OUT!!!
Edit – Update. I think I am going to give Greatest American Dog a chance. I set up a Greatest American Dog News Blog so we’ll see….

Well it’s me and you bro. ‘Cause I am having some serious withdrawal symptoms. I am sorry but no other show can compete. I don’t pay mind to the articles and segments that may say that “American Idol” is losing its’ popularity and its’ viewers are declining. Nonetheless it is still the #1 reality TV show on TV. I will be going to their kickoff show here in AZ on my b/day. But I do get to watch American Idol Rewind on Saturdays. I stayed tuned by listening to all my downloaded songs from the season on my IPOD or reliving the moments on YouTube. What can I say I am a true addict.

Well it looks like I might give Big Brother a look see on July 10th, and for some reason I am going to the Dogs on https://idol-mania.com/Greatest-American-Dog
I thought I would give Greatest American Dog a chance, I need something to blog about and it has the word AMERICAN in it. Not IDOL but close enough for the addicted fingers to punch out a few choice words. It starts on Thursday July 10th at 8pm on CBS. We’ll see how long I can hold out and write about it
