On the Greatest American Dog CBS Reality Show the time has come for another owner and dog to be voted off. The recipient of the honor went to Beth Joy and Bella Starlet as they were the latest ones Voted Off Greatest American Dog

There was a scene with a weeping Beth Joy holding her dog, saying between sobs that her dog was just too, too stressed.

Bill and Star What did surprise me was everybody’s favorite contestant Bill and his dog Star. This man has shown such a sweet and loving relationship with his dog that they’ve won everyone’s hearts.

His relationship with his dog changed over night. For the first time his dog didn’t perform well. The argument started out with little nips about different styles of dog training, and escalated into personal attack. This was a war of words, but no less lethal than any dog fight.

At the end, the women made nice to each other, but you can tell these two will never be buddies at the dog park. Platt and his dog Galaxy, because the judges’ argument started over him. We are down to five dogs and three weeks to go.

Voted Off Greatest American Dog 8-13-08
As if having to watch Greatest American Dog instead of the Olympics wasn’t painful enough, last night’s episode featured the pups painting. Though Beth Joy was confident that mutt Bella Starlet would win — Bella Starlet once took an IQ test and she was smarter than Beth Joy — Bill’s Brittany, Star, did it in the fastest time, 8.34 seconds.

Bill repaid Teresa for her kindness last week by offering her the Suite and the leg-up in the Best in Show Challenge — painting a picture that best represents the bond you have with your dog, with only the dog being allowed to actually apply the paint.

Laura and Pomeranian Preston, struggled not because he’s a tiny dog, but because Laura had him nudge over an entire bottle of paint that flooded underneath her stencil.

Laurie and Andrew and JD and English Pointer Border Collie Galaxy rounded out the bottom three because Laurie was unimaginative and JD didn’t realize that he put the letter stencils on Galaxy’s jacket backwards.

In the latest round of Greatest American Dog, Laura and Preston felt the wrath of the Judges and were voted off Greatest American Dog.

Laura and Preston got the boot!!
