Here is Kris Allen’s rendition of “Apologize” by One Republic, performed on May 12, 2009. Even though the song was chosen by Randy and Kara, they weren’t feeling it! Randy: “This song shows us who you could be in the future; very nice.” Kara: “I wish you had made it more your own.” Paula: “There was a bum note, but you are worthy of being in the top two.” Simon: “It was a competent version of the original, but not quite as good.”
I thought it was pretty decent, but not groundbreaking. What did you think?
