American Idol Fan Site | Who got voted off American Idol

Oh, American Idol. They’re always getting in some kind of trouble. Or always getting in the news… which obviously makes my job of writing about it a whole lot easier. BUT, this time, they are getting sued. Oh yes, by ME – because they totally exploited my sexuality, and told me to “gay it up”.

Well, maybe that wasn’t me. According to TMZ, it was Ian Benardo who got “exploited”. Ahh, crap. Now I can’t sue. BUT HE CAN. And he is. As TMZ put it…

“Ian Benardo — the “American Idol” reject who stole the mic from Dane Cook during the live finale earlier this year — is setting the stage for a $300 million lawsuit … claiming show producers told him to “gay it up” … and then turned their back on him when the idea backfired.”

That was a couple months ago, and NOW he has decided to (and I quote)…

“Ian Benardo — the former “American Idol” contestant who sued the show for $300 million — has withdrawn that lawsuit … only to refile a new one for $100 million.”

I remember him from last year’s auditions, and I don’t really think anyone “exploited” him. I mean, Exploited? Right, because he’s the type of gay guy that doesn’t show it off? I’m sorry but he’s so gay, he’d probably be the hood ornament for the gay pride parade. Don’t yell, I don’t have a problem with that, and I’m not dissing the guys’ sexual preference. I am however making fun of the fact that he’s stupid enough to sue.

I’m convinced everyone is suing these days. Maybe I should trip/fall in Wal-Mart and sue, or get fat and sue McDonalds for making me that way. I phail at life. It’s all these other people that win.

So, what are your thoughts? I think TMZ was having a slow news day, but that’s okay. Haha.

Hello, my lovely American Idol fans. And of course, MY fans. Oh that’s right, I have none. YAY! Anywho, more Idol news coming your way…

It seems that Idol is making it clear that they will never be the kind of talent show that makes their contestants sound different, or more “enhanced”. Unlike The X-Factor who has been getting in some trouble lately, for reportedly “fixing up” a few contestants. Ex-Idol judge Simon (Cruel) Cowell and some talent shows in the UK have gotten in some trouble for using Auto-Tune on their contestants. And apparently people like the ‘oh-so-fabulous’ Susan Boyle from Britain’s Got Talent received some help in that department. ONOES! Scandalous. Baaad, baaad, baaad, you British people! BAAAAAAD!

Well, once this came out, American Idol got accused of the same thing. But, producers of the show denied it, saying:

“We have never, nor would we ever, use Auto-Tuning during the ‘American Idol’ competition,”.

So, in other words, what Idol is saying is this:

“HA, you moronic Brits, we ain’t as stupid as YOU. And we don’t make our people seem like they have talent, because they’re Americans, and Americans have more talent than Brits”.

Oh, did that offend you, if you’re a Brit? Don’t be mad at me, I’m just repeating what they didn’t actually say. Pfft, chill blokes and blokettes. =D

As we all know, our beloved Simon Cowell is starting an American Version of the ‘We Auto-Tune Our Contestants Show’ – otherwise known at The X-Factor. But, in reports it says that he has BLOCKED any editing on the contestants voices. Ahh, damn, I was really looking forward to some Autotoned, Kanye West action. *sad face*

However, I love how Idol pops out of nowhere to tell their side of the story… Um, excuse me? Aren’t you the show that PRE RECORDS your contestants? And in those weird little group performances? No one actually thinks they’re really singing. So, shut yo’ face Idol. Bahaha, jay kay ya’ll. But, seriously.
