American Idol Season 10 New Jersey auditions gave us 17-year-old Robbie Rosen. Check out the video:
Robbie, a Merrick, NY resident, had a bad sickness called hip synovitis when he was a child that made him spend some time in a wheelchair. It is an inflammation of the hip that is extremely painful, but usually heals up, so I don’t know what he was talking about when he said they said he’d never walk again. ALTHOUGH, if it went septic (and it could have) it could have meant he would never walk again. I’m glad he got better.
He is a songwriter who wrote a song for the Sophia’s Cure Foundation to cure Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type I.
