Paul McDonald is no stranger to the music world. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Paul currently resides in Nashville, TN where he records, travels, plays and performs with his band The Grand Magnolias (formerly Hightide Blues). Paul’s 27 years old with a winning smile and a quirky onstage presence. He auditioned in Nashville, and quickly won the judges approval.

paul you are amazing. i love your singing voice sooo much. every time i watch you sing i get goose bumps . your a very unique singer and i love the way you move. AKA- your swag. lol.. you are very cute and i hope you dont get voted off american idol. just stick with your heart and you will get through it all. LOVE YOU SO MUCH PAUL!!!!!

I am so dissapointed to have seen that American Idol allowed such trashy people like GaGa do her near nude proformance on the show that is supposed to be one of America’s show youth and children watch. I for one do not appreciate seeing that person’s body. I am very ashamed for her to not have any more morals that she has to show her body. I see it as evil American Idol is allowing for what I do not know. It is a popular show but myself and others I know may let this be the last Idol we watch. It was in very poor taste.
