I do not really like the way he sings, but he is CUTE, and now quite…weird!

Well, maybe he should have stuck with being a weird, cross dresser, whatever the heck ^ THAT was!

I wonder if they will through him off the show for that, if so, I think they would have probably done that by now!

Wow. Wow. I replayed this over and over, like I used to do with my led zep vinyls in the 70s. I am also a classical music buff and I liken this Ring of Fire performance to Ravel’s Bolero, with the intensity slowly building to a crescendo! Hallelujah Adam!

Adam’s voice is beyond just about anything I’ve ever heard. His talent is equal if not better than the best singers from the 70’s and 80’s. Noone that has ever been on American Idol will ever match his raw talent. If he doesn’t win season 8, i’ll never watch american idol again. Simon is a fool for not liking ‘Ring of Fire’. It’s funny how these judges think they know so much about music. If they did, they would end the competion now and give it to Adam. Rock on Adam. You’ll have a record deal even if you don’t win. And I’ll be one of the first to buy it.

Ok American Idol is about singing not your sexual preference. Who cares that he is gay. Hell look at Rob Halford, Freddy Mercury, George Michael, and any other singers that are gay that still made it big in the music industry.

Its about how you sing. I think boy bands are queer but they can sing though and alot of them made money. So just stick to how someone sings and not there sexual preference.

Adam is the most talented idol we’ve seen in 8 seasons!! I am totally hypnotized when he sings and there are very few professional singers out there right now that can even come close to having the raw natural talent this guy has. Adam Lambert isn’t anything but a fake. Sure he has a little talent in singing but he isn’t a rocker and anyone with a little common sense could see he is just “TRYING” to make people believe he’s hardcore. Like Randy Travis said, “Where i come from men don’t wear nail polish,” or “guy liner” for that matter. The kid wears more makeup than a cheap hooker; you would have to use a chisel to get the 5in. of base off his face just to cover up the bad face he has, and you girls think he is hot, too bad he swings for the same team you girls do, for the love of god he was in theater doing an acting/singing type thing, now I’m not saying all guys in that carer love rainbows but a true hardcore rocker wouldn’t be on the verge of tears when the dimwitted judges give him a good comment randy with his dog dog dog b.s. that smug bit kara who thinks she’s better than everyone the pilled out psycho paula, and for some reason simon the only one who usually has a little sense is going stupid for this HOMOsapien .

Adam’s attire, complexion and sexual preference doesn’t make him a phoney. It’s undeniable that he is extremely talented. Some of the notes he hits are just unbelievable and his vocal range is outstanding. He hasn’t missed a note, flat or sharp. He’s not pretending to be anything else. If he was in this show with all of the previous season’s Idol winners, they would definately be worried.

I don’t care who wins but I only tune in to see Adam. I first tuned in when he sang “Ring of Fire.” I thought this guy is brave and edgy. After “Tracks of My Tears”, does anyone have a chance? No other contestant has produced a quality signature song. I’m waiting and hoping for more. Adam keeps me tuning in. I hope another will break out but am doubtful.

OMG! Anyone who tries to deny Adam’s amazing voice & talent is probably just in denial due to their low self esteem. Forget his skin, nail polish or sexual preference, I couldn’t care less about all that. There is just no room for denying that he has a voice of a seasoned legend star. But for the record, I do think he is sizzling hot and I love everything about him! Those amazing eyes! He is just perfect in my opinion!

I would just liketo also mention that this young man, Adam has it all going on. If you really know and the artristy, you can only then aprreciate this artist, Adam Lambert. Ring of Fire was outstanding, listen to it again and again, you can FEEL his emotion on the WORDS in this sultry song, wonderfully. Adam has made of hit of every song he has song already, Brilliant.
As far as comment #43. You seem a bit predudice to say the least. Bordering on extreme Jealousy. I guess in your opinion most people in the entertainment world of artists are a joke. You have no clue!

I think Adam Lambert is an extraordinary young man with a talent never seen before on American Idol. I have read many comments about him on various websites, about why he hasn’t been discovered before this, but I think his time hadn’t come. It sure has now. To me, when he sings, he appears to be totally lost in the words he is singing – it’s like we, the listeners, are transported to that world. And that, to me, is the sign of a true genius. I rate him up there with kdlang and Melissa Etheridge (not to mention U2). Go well, Adam. Your parents sure did something right in the way they raised you, and the thing I love most about watching AI (apart from watching your performance each week and wondering what new high you will hit) is seeing the looks on their faces at the end of each of your performances and the obvious delght and pride they have for you. A PS to my post above. I am from New Zealand and have been watching AI since Season 2. The only other contestants that would come close to Adam (close to, but not equal to, in my opinion) would be Clay Aiken (Season 2) and Fantasia (Season 3, I think). AI broadcasts here are a couple of weeks behind the US – thank goodness for You Tube!! It means we can enjoy the event before it happens! The only downside is that we can’t download the iTunes from the show

I am a great-grandmother. I’ve seen many musical artists in my time and I can tell you that Adam has true talent. His version of “Ring of Fire” with its Mid-Eastern tone was quite intriguing and definitely got my attention. Something different – and such a refreshing break from all the “carbon copy” arrangements over the years. You rock Adam…from the rockin’ great-grandma! Judges…you need more exposure to middle-eastern music to truly appreciate this arrangement!

I think Black and white was my favorite because of the choreography.. The other performances did sound the same to me… If you can match my top three.. you’ll have my vote..

Adam’s voice is amazing and I feel sorry for anyone who cannot appreciate that. I bought all that I could on ITUNES and now I go around all day listening and watching Adam. He makes me feel so good. His talent is truly historical and though I am only 38, I think I understand now the mania surrounding Elvis. When he sings a song, he makes me appreciate it in a whole new way. Until Adam, I never liked Mad World, now I have a whole new appreciation for the beautiful song writing. Stay versatile Adam, keep surprising us!

Adam was refreshing and still is. I love his voice and I just watched his audition and now I know why they fell in love with him. But See Simon kept calling him that throughtout the whole season. But hey I think no matter what he chooses to do he has an awesome career ahead ofh im. Queen asking him to possibly be the front guy is cool, but I like to see him do his own thing and not there stuff. I hope he comes out with an album.
