  Hey y’all, did everyone make it through last night? A few of the surrounding areas got wiped out pretty bad. The last time I saw the news death toll was in the 40s for our viewing area.

  Wow, listen to Smellysox and think…this girl was #2 last year. Even though there are people who get on my nerves this season, everyone in this season’s Top 12 except for Paul is a better singer than she is.

  Sidenote: she’s had her teefs fixed!

  This seems rigged. Judging from their Facebook pages, Casey has 40,000 fans and Jacob only has 14,000. What the hell?! I know maybe that’s not an accurate thing to go by, but still. Jacob should be voted off next week. This is ridiculous. Who the hell is voting for him?

  Casey may not appeal to the younger generation but he is a genius .
  James is safe so I am OK with this .

  jaob might be boring but like jeb hudson abd tamyra he has teue natural gift of singing.. his voice is a natural intrument regardless if u like him or not. he is boring but truth is he does have a powerful instrument. hell get a rec deal like jen , mandisa, tamyra, bc no matter how u slice it they r good, scotty needs to go home too

  What a joke, Casey is true talent. American Idol voters usually vote for the boring singers. You watch this guy will be famous.

  listen i want the judges to stop lying to these young peoples. Because they all are awful randy jackson is so scared to judge on his on he has to agree with the another 2 . This is the WORST SEASON EVER!!! WHERE IS SIMON atleast he didn’t lie to them. please lets find some judges for the next season your rating are going to drop

  Well… This season is just messed up. I’m just glad it wasn’t Lauren or James. They are the best on there. Sad though. I kinda wish it was Jacob. Just being honest. I actually think Pia should win but she’s already gone which makes no sense at all. I hope Lauren or James win the whole thing. Those are my top 2.

  joe, bob, and daisy. It is obvious that Your levels of disgust is with yourself not the contestants, judges or the show format. Please do not procreate…Please go to another appropriate venue to vent. Wonderful show & wonderful season!!!

  I don’t know why people are saying all the contestants suck bc really a lot of them have better voices than a lot of popular artists. Anyway totally dissapointed. If I had it my way the 5 left would be Casey Pia James Haley and Lauren. But everyone votes based on different things. I vote on skill talent uniqueness and if they really move me when they sing. Casey and james do that every time. Pia and haley and lauren all have stellar voices. I don’t know why Jacob is still there his voice is limited…whenever he sings duets or group songs his voice just doesn’t blend its not versatile at all.

  Remember people. . . you can vote as many times for your favorite as you want. Expect to be surprised every week or go to ” American Idol vote fair” web site and get the true results. You can only vote once there. I miss Pia too!

  Jacob was my favorite – he can really sing. But he has a big voice and he gets carried away so much so that he often over sings the songs. I just wish he could adopt some humility and focus on singing and stop flaming. It’s obvious – but this is a contest about singing.

  I am not a rock music fan, but this boy James is really talented. The rest of them really do not offer him any real competition. I agree that the judges should be honest. Steven is just the male version of Paula and Jennifer could be good – if she stop feeling like she is hurting them by giving constructive criticism. Randy is just all over the place. If they keep this up, people are going to stop watching and that will be the end of AI.

  Wow, what a disappointment! I’m very discouraged to see that the majority of the people that vote have little ability to recognize true musical talent. Lets face it…Casey is the most talented outta the entire bunch…his music soul, spirit and ability to play an array of instruments is amazing…so why was he voted off? Simply put…because these people who watch television and vote are also those listening to pop radio stations and buying into the sounds and images that are poured into their eyes and ears by the media…this has tarnished their ability to recognize true talent. There’s something about listening to someone who brings heart and soul to their music and Casey certainly does that. And trust me….every judge is disappointed with the outcome as well. Too bad. I certainly have no reason to watch the rest of the season, boring.

  Renee , you have written the most reasonable explanation as to what happened to Casey. I too think he is extremely talented and that his talent
  is given little credebility ! Hopefully someone will pick Casey up and tap into his talent.

  The emphasis in prior years was on voice first, then the performing. This year, Carrie Underwood and Celine Dion would have been voted off because they don’t perform, they just sang. Pia had an exceptional voice but one idiot judge said she is to comfortable sitting on the stage singing and the idiots voting believed her.

  the last week should have been between Pia and Scotty. I have a feeling the metal guy might win tho cause he is the ONLY ONE putting on a show! Scotty said he was going to “bring it on” this week. He never even stood up! comeon, get some moves. be a voice like you are scotty. You have have it. sex it up. leave us wanting MORE crooning….if James wins, well, I give up. he’s metal, I’m not. He screams, I like singing! Pia should have won the entire thing. period.
