The show started out really awkwardly, don’t you guys think? Anyway, is the only reason J-Lo is even a judge on the show is because she wants to promote her new single “On The Floor”…oh aha. Did you see what I did there?

They welcomed the contestants. They’re all good looking people when they’re all done up. Oh, but aren’t we all?! Last night consisted of rivers, men, umbrellas and weird dance moves. Shall I get into the recap? P.S. IF you want to see less of what I think and more of what the judges had to say, go check out Jebbica’s Live Blog… Or you can read more of my snariness by

Lauren Aliana | “Any Man Of Mine” by Shania Twian
She was intimidated by working with the producers. But, she had nothing to worry about as they all thought she was something great. The judges were okay with her performance, but it wasn’t their favourite. And same here. I LOVE HER to death, but that was just nooot good. It might be good for her to get knocked down a little bit too. Nothing bad to say about her though. She’s awesome. And she’ll be here next week.

Casey Abrams | “With A Little Help From My Friends” by The Beatles

He had Justin Bieber hair as a child. See? J-Biebes is not original. Casey wants to be felt too. Um. Ew. He’s funny though. I adore him. I think he did good. I’m not into that old rasp sound. But, the judges thought it was good. And J-Lo thought it was “Impor-an”. I think he would be a cool Uncle. Yeah? He’ll be here next week.

Ashthon Jones | “When You Tell Me That You Love Me” by Diana Ross
She’s happy that the people she worked with took her to a place she’s never been. She is NOT as fabulous as everyone seems to think she is. I mean, just because you have huge hair, doesn’t mean you can sing a Diana Ross song. She’s trying to hard to be something she’s not. I don’t get her. And I think she’s arrogant. The judges thought she was okay. I don’t think they were huge fans of it. Meh, she’ll be in the bottom two.

Paul McDonald | “Come Pick Me Up” by Ryan Adams

His teeth. Omg. Are the most perfect thing. I love people with perfect teeth. Someone has dental insurance. Mhmmm. Perfect teeth he may have, perfect dance moves… he does not. He reminded me of Pinocchio on crack. Did he have strings attached to him? The performance itself was just weird. And the judges really didn’t like it that much. But, I don’t think he’s going home yet.

Pia Toscano | “All By Myself” by Celine Dion
Who bets she gets by on hers looks a lot in reality? Crows feet will bite her in the arse one day. Meh, she has a good voice. Very boring though. She looked like Bedazzled Batman. The judges loved her, obviously. Go away. Get voted off. Choke. Bye.

James Durbin | “Maybe I’m Amazed” by Paul McCartney
This is Twitchy, and my Twitchy he will be. He seemed very controlled. I liked it a lot. The judges LOVE HIM. And Jebbica is coming over to the James Durbin side. He played with the audience too. But, Ryan put that to a halt. Douche bag.

Haley Reinhart | “Blue” by LeAnn Rimes

I like the crackiness in her voice. That was cool. Like her own autotune. Steven and J-Lo liked it. But, Randy didn’t like it. Randy sucks. I mean, I wouldn’t listen to that kind of music, personally, but it was good for what it was. I don’t think a lot of people got her performance. She’ll be here next week.

Jacob Lusk | “I Believe I Can Fly” by R. Kelly
Holy crap. He’s good. But, I’m not sure what to think about him. I still want to go to church with him. And I’m not even a religious person. The judges liked it. I don’t think he’ll last long.

Thia Megia | “Smile” by Michael Jackson

She’s so cute. She really is. And she has a lot of talent, but my GOD is she boring. I really don’t think she pushed herself any. The judges liked it of course. And then she cried at the end; there was no reason for that. Gurl, grow a pair. If she made an album, I would be asleep half way through the first song.

Stefano Langone | “Lately” by Stevie Wonder
That was a weird clash of half-arsed-techno, lyrics and the way he sang it. It was so weird, I really didn’t like it at all. The judges loved it, because they know nothing. I like the guys scars that’s it. He’s going home.

Karen Rodriguez | “I Could Fall In Love” by Selena
J-Lo thought she looked a little uncomfortable and so did the other judges. And I agree. She was really trying to hard to be like her “Idol”. The outfit was way too much, considering she couldn’t pull it off. And what’s up with her lips? There’s just something really off about her.

Scotty McCreery | “The River” by Garth Brooks
Did he root for the Trojan team? What? Did I miss something? This kid is going to get picked up. He better get kicked off in a few weeks, because if he wins, he’ll kinda lose. He said in the beginning that he wasn’t going to change, and Randy said it was good, and he shouldn’t. The judges loved it overall.

Niama Adedapo | “Umbrella” by Rihanna

The judges were okay with it. I liked her Reggaeness. I think that was fitting for her for some reason.
I’m glad she shaved her armpits too. Ah well, I think she’s safe.

Sorry for such a boring recap. IT WAS A BORING NIGHT. Seriously.
What are your thoughts? And who do you think will get voted off idol?
