Do you guys remember that chick that used to be an American Idol judge? She was that slobbery thing that was constantly hanging off of Simon Cowell. Remember her? Yeah, well that was Paula Abdul. Oh how we miss her, and though the show will NEVER be the same without her and Simon, she seems to think that the show will be just fine without them.
Entertainment Weekly caught up with ex Idol Judge Paula Abdrool to see what she thought about Idol lately, and the new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.
“I think that they picked seasoned veterans who know what they are talking about and are no strangers to hard work and dedication and understand this isn’t a ‘me too’ business. It’s really about standing out on your own and being unique. And you know, if they have half of the amazing experience that I had then they’re golden.”
EW asked her if she would be on the American version of X-Factor next year, with Simon. She said…
“We’ll just have to see about that, won’t we?”
YAY, maybe she’ll be on there. I’m sure she will be desperate for work by then, and need a job.
I really do miss Paula. Kara just wasn’t Paulaish enough. BUT, Nigel Lythgoe seems to think that J-Lo is just like Paula in allot of ways. Is that good, or bad?
