Well we know for a fact who our next American idol judges are going to be. That being Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson, of course. Now that we have new judges, what are their thoughts on it, and what kind of judges are they going to be?
Here‘s some things they said at a press conference.
Quotes via Access Hollywood:
Steven Tyler said:
“It’s very hard when people have only been alive for 15 years, and they’re up here singing and tell you they’ve been singing for ten of them, but I think they all know what they’re getting into and I try to judge them fairly.”
Obviously he knows that becoming a rockstar is not the most easy thing that’s ever been done. And he would know how long it takes. He says:
“Some of the kids are so young that I’m not sure if they can get, you know, how long it’s taken me to be successful,” the rocker said. “How many clubs I had to play… how hard it was to take. But they all took it well. A lot of tears. Kind of hard for me, but I’ll get over it.”
He’ll get over it!
J-Lo said that she (during the idol auditions) is going to be “tough, easy, and fair”. BAHAHA. Yeah right. Get a grip.
She also said:
“They’re going to come in here and be a little bit nervous in the beginning, and then you realize, ‘Wow, that person is really talented,’ so we work them a little bit more than maybe you’ve seen in the past. We’ve given them more of a chance… We know what it’s like to be out there.”.
They seem to have it all figured out, don’t they? NOT! Having said that, I won’t quote Randy, because there’s nothing to quote.
So, are you guys excited for these new judges? Or are you like me and only excited for STEVEN FREAKIN TYLER. How cool is THAT? Epic!
