What is going on? Are you people counting the votes correctly? This is just not right. The best preformer on their, and you let her go. Wait, are you padding the votes? Has to be something crazy like that. You guys don’t know what you have ’til you’ ve lost it. I think a good recount would be in order, and recant next week.

There is no way Pia had the least amount of votes. How are you feeling about using the save now? Why are only women being voted off?I don’t know who is voting, but the real america is fed up with this nonsense and votes to cancel the show!

If Idol wants to do the right thing they will bring Pia back, The save should not have been used on Casey. Last nights results has something very wrong. And I don’t want to make this a gender thing but why are only the girls being voted off?????

Pia was beautiful and certainly had a beautiful voice….probably the best voice of them all but……she did not have charisma or that certain undefined thing that allows you to be entertained by her for more than 1 song. If I buy a ticket for a show I want to see more than a beautiful uncharasmatic stick standing there with a beautiful voice and nothing else. She may be able to be trained to entertain but either you have the spark or you don’t and she didn’t have it. Casey and Paul definately have it and could entertain with their very specialized way of delivering a song….no problem. She didn’t even know what kind of music she she should be singing nor what kind of entertainer she was. They are who they are, their talent is set…maybe their voices aren’t as good as hers but they have tons of personality on stage and that’s what it takes, even more than a beautiful voice.

Something is wrong with the telephone voting system. I tried to vote for Pia for the entire two hour period and could not get through. “Buzy Signal”
The system needs to be changed so that each viewer gets only one vote. It appears that the current system may not be truly reflective of the person that MOST viewers choose . It would be interesting to see how many people actually vote of the 50 million votes recorded.
It is a great show with good talent and fun to watch just change the voting system to reflect fairness and reward true talent.

Pia was not all that! Yes, she is beautiful and yes, she had a beautiful voice, but she lacked passion on the stage. I was left bored after each of her performances. There is much more to entertaining than just a pretty voice. Gotta pack a punch….make people want to stand up and sing. She didn’t have what it takes.

American Idol sucks this season…I quit watching after they eleminated Pia. And what sorry group of people are still voting for the cowboy kid? The only good thing about the show is Steven Tyler, now there’s an AMERICAN IDOL…..

Wow, these kids are soooooooo good this year best year yet. They all have great voices but it’s the carisma that makes you a star !!! I like hearing people with different voices, something new besides the regular country, pop, or rock. that’s why I loved Paul and love Hayley and James. I think Scotty is a super country star already and can do well enough on his own, they need to send Jacob back to gospel, and Lauren is another Leanne Rymes.

As I watched Idol last night all my previous thoughts about the phony voting system came to
light. These contestants and how they finish is
entirely up to the producers of the show, they want the youngest of the contestants in the top
three, they do not want an Idol that’s married with a child to win it’s not good for their marketing campaigns. Although I do not prefer Metal over other music, James was a casualty of
the producer choice, The public is being hoodwinked into believing that their votes really
count, all the voters are doing is making the cell phone companies richer, and I’ll bet Idol is getting
a cut of that.

I agree that the producers want a “straight” looking and acting person to win each year. David Cook was the exception and I believe that he had soooo many fans that they couldn’t NOT allow him to win it all. The same for Carry. Last year Crystal was head and shoulders above the entire group and expecially above Lee…what’s his name???? Can’t remember it….wonder why? James will go far. I love him.

scotty will win it all. Does anyone remember Daughtry/Taylor Hicks ? most all the idol votes come in from the south. Thats why Lauren is in the top 3. The voting south will never allow a rocker to win. Terrible top 3 !

Oh I totally agree with Hannah ^……Daughtry is a huge success and Taylor Hicks is delivering pizzas….All country singers are in the top on idol…Underwood, Pickler, etc…..Casey earned his save, he by far was the most talented, but southerners can’t hear anything beyond the twang in some voices…ha ha ha ha ha

Crystal was soooooooo much better than Lee. She was an entertainer and performer. Lees CD was not good.
