Ah, finally. It’s American Idol time again. I’ve waited 6 days for it. Jeez! Alicia Keys was the mentor, and I was happy with that. She always seems really cool, and she does allot of good stuff for the world. Lolz
It’s the theme of inspiration. Or the inspiration theme. Or something. Can’t wait to get inspired, or depressed. Lets find out.
But, in other news. I GET TO WATCH LOST TONIGHT. I don’t have to watch it on Hulu.
01) Casey James
He sang, “Don’t Stop” by Fleetwood Mac.
Alicia wanted him to connect with the audience. Aren’t they all supposed to do that? The judges were not fans of that at all, which I wasn’t either. Like I said, I think he should be a guitar player for the rest of the contestants. Mr. Goat go bye bye.
02) Lee DeWyze
He sang, “The Boxer” by Simon and Garfunkel.
Alicia wanted him to bring people in? Basically the same thing as what she told Casey. The judges were in love with it… just when I think they will hate something. They like it. WTH? I was not a fan of it, but it wasn’t as bad as the one before him. Who else saw the lines of saliva in his mouth? I DID. I was counting them.
03) Tim Urban
He sang, “Better Days” by The Goo Goo Dolls.
GOO GOO DOLLS? You’re kidding me, right? Oh, I love Timmy, but that didn’t work. I like that song, but not on him. Maybe it would have been better if he didn’t ruin a song that I like. The judges were not fans of it either. He’s still cute as ever. I want a Tim Urban cut out. Someone get me one, plz.
04) Aaron Kelly
He sang, “I Believe I Can Fly” by R Kelly.
Me: “I BELIEVE I CAN TOUCH THE SKY… if I had a really tall ladder”. Oh yeah. Alicia wanted him to hit it, beat the crap out of it… AND KILL IT. The song that is… The dude can sing. There’s no doubt about it, but he’s so boring. The judges were okay with it. I think he might be going home though… Yes, I said that. Because I’ll be damned it Timster goes. NEVER! FTW!
05) Siobhan Magnus
She sang, “When You Believe” by Mariah Carey.
Okay, let me just point something out. Her outfit was the coolest thing ever. That had to of been the best yet. I don’t care if Simon thought it was weird, it was epic. Alicia really liked her and her voice and seems to think Siobhan has something the rest don’t. I wasn’t a fan of the performance, and neither were the judges.
06) Big Mike
He sang, “Loving You” by Minnie Riperton.
I didn’t watch his performance, I was texting. So, I’m sure the judges loved it, and I’m sure he sounded like a girl.
07) Crystal Bowersox
She sang, “People Get Ready” by Marvin Gaye.
Well, she didn’t have her guitar, or any instrument for that matter. And I was kinda worried about that, but she did fine without it. AND she looked really pretty. The song, and the emotional-ness wasn’t my thing, but it was cool that she can be good without playing something. I think she could do that more.
Yeah, tonight basically inspired me to kill myself. But, that’s okay. At least it inspired something. Also, who thinks Simon got his sweater from Randy? ME DOES!

I cannot vote for Siobhan Magnus tonight (4-20-10) because the phone line is constantly busy. Is someone blocking this line on purpose? Why are the judges so hard on her? I didn’t like her at first, but she is interesting and talented! She did a great job tonight and no one can call in! You may have to have a re-vote when the phone lines are clear!

I like Siobhan and thought she did ok. It does seem though that Kara does not like her, each week Kara has kept saying she does not know who Siobhan is, that could be said for many of the other contestants as well. Crystal is very good and it looks as though the judges with their continued praise over her will assure her victory. Siobhan is the new Tim, she cannot do anything right especially in Kara’s eyes.

Mike actually sang “Hero” by Chad Kroeger, but that would have been AWESOME if he had done “Loving You”! I keep waiting for him to pull it out one week and aim for that high note. I might actually vote for him then!

I don’t see why people want to keep Tim aka Zac Effron… Sucky Effron as I call him around. He stinks! If talent goes home tonight over him..I will be so mad!!! The judges are amazed he’s still there. I am too!!

I think that…..Aaron Kelly and Shibon Magnus,Tim Urban should so leave Aaron is ok but he sings songs that are too old for him.Shibon cannot sing she just cares about the screams and that’s not the point!!!!!!Tim well he is just plain annoying and his hair looks like someone slapped him across the face….PS. GO LEE DEWYZE rock on!!!!!

Crystal Bowersox is way overhyped! She can sing, but not extraordinarily well, and she doesn’t bring much presence to the stage. Siobahn Magnus, or Casey James have the potential for real star power post Idol, so they will get my votes!

I think that Aaron Kelly has an amazing voice for his age and his stage prescence is fabulous. Tim Urban is ok but the only reason he has been here so long was that so many girls think he is cute but they are so wrong!!! Siobhan Magnus is an amazing singer she hits notes i’ve never even heard of!!! Lee Dewyze is wonderful he always brings a great performance to the stage. Crystal is ok but she doesnt have a great stage prescence and is not someone i would see in concert or buy their album. I love Casey James as well but i still am holding out for Aaron he always has my vote!!!!!!!

okay.. i have DVR and this is how it goes.
Aaron Kelly…skipped… or i will fall asleep. he looks like a mini-guido and it erks me. and his singing is exactly like every other (how old is he?) 12 year old boy.
Lee Dewyze… has suprised me, i love him more and more.
Big Mike… we get it… but its kind of always the same.
Casey James… one of my favorites. boy can sing… and not like everyother person. real talent, but needs a better song choice.
Shiobhan… PICK BETTER SONGS and stop being overly dramatic, and you have a great shot.
Crystal… is the best. she has the soul, the presence, the story, and she doesnt need her instrument to show shes the best.
who else is on there? oh yeah tim. ew.
all i can really say is THANK god katie is gone. and WHY THE HELL did Lily Scott get voted off?
