Season 8 finalist (and my personal favorite) Anoop Desai is releasing his debut album, All Is Fair on May 3. He stopped by the TVGuide.com studios to perform an acoustic version of his single, “My Name.” Man, I bet Anoop is kicking himself for not waiting until this season to audition! He would have mopped the floor with these contestants!

Well, that was a little strange. It was like listening to Indian Usher. Somehow I have a feeling that Anoop doesn’t actually know that much about Indian culture. I liked it okay though…at least it’s something different!
