I think the judges totally missed it. While Didi struggled with it, it was by far the most original and heartfelt performance of the night. There’s no prior recording of the song in the style that Didi approached it and the connection was palpable. It’s not always about hitting the notes.

I am still shocked that this girl even made it onto the show–I don’t know what the judges ever saw in her!

I think she will be taking taking the bus home this week.
I will say, she at least enunciates her words, In an Amy Winehose kind of way (or Amy Winehouse).
