Four more kids get their hopes and dreams crushed on American Idol tonight. Any guesses? We might have a few of our own….

Because this song hasn’t been run into the ground enough, the Idols are doing a group version of “I Gotta Feeling”. Lip-syncing? It should sound better if it is, right? They all look soooooo uncomfortable. And…did I just hear Autotune? That might just be what this season of singers needs!
Baby! I-I-I can’t wait! I swear, that Powerade Zero and the Kris Allen Ford commercials are the only ones they ever show. Which means I will see them about 200 times before I find out who’s been eliminated.
Immediately into the eliminations. Tim Urban is up first.
And he is asked to sit on the couch, because he’s safe!
Todrick Hall is next. He is asked to keep standing.
Ryan calls out Big Mike next. He joins Tim on the couch, as does Casey James. John Park is next, and is asked to stand with Todrick. One of them is going home. And that person is…John Park! Score one for all of us on the board! His parents are crying…aww, he seems so nice. Frownie face. John sounds better in his exit song than he has sounded all season. Where was this voice last night?
After a break, we’re ready for more cut-downs. Lee Dewyze is up first. Of course, he’s safe. As are Aaron Kelly and Alex Lambert, yippee! That leaves Jermaine Sellers and Andrew Garcia. Hmm, which of these two is going home? It cannot be Andrew…he is Top 12 material! And America agrees with me! So, guess what? We are two-for-two on our predictions! OMG, Jermaine, STFU. He cannot be voted off quick enough. SHUT. UP. JERMAINE. Please go away forever. Leave the bowtie. And the onesie. Thank you. (You know what I really wish I had now? One of those canes that pulls him off stage by the neck!)
Ugh, did they just say Danny Gokey? This episode is just getting more and more painful on my ears. At least he and Jermaine aren’t doing a duet.
Danny sings some song about being old. I’m still not a fan. I’m sorry guys. He just doesn’t do it for me. The song sounds better than other ones I’ve heard him sing…he’s doing country now? That fits…oddly. Ehh, maybe he’s not so bad. Oo, dead wife reference. Last sentence retracted.
Time for the girls. First up is Lilly. She’s safe. Paige Miles is also safe. Katie is safe! Yea, I was wrong! But, that leaves Didi and Michele, two talented girls. One of them is going home. I get a half-point if it’s Michele, right? And, it is! Point for Liz and I’m claiming a half-point because I said it was a tie for me between her and Katie.
After another break, Katelyn Epperly and Crystal Bowersox find out that they’re safe. My girl Siobhan is also safe! It’s down to Haeley and Lacey. Who is going home (surely it will be Lacey)?
What? Haeley is going home? Lacey lasts another week! Oh, my ears!
Aww, sadness. I was actually surprised! Poor Haeley, everyone is crying and she’s not the exception! I even want to cry. What did you think of tonight’s eliminations?
