Well, we all know it was Group Day on American Idol. And we all know how awesome that is. And how much Drama and all the good stuff there is. I LOVE Group Week. I think it’s the best out of all of them.
I’m not sure if I really missed anything, I was 5 minutes late, but it’s all good.
96 contestants have made it this far, let’s see how they do when they get paired up with people they may or may not like.
Let the DRAMA begin… dun dun DUUUUUUUUN.
The first group who called themselves “Faith” did really good and they all made it through. I have no idea who was in the group though, I never heard of any of them.
The Dreamers were having some problems… but that’s because Mary Powers is quite the control freak. Maybe because she’s just older and thinks she knows more? Which she probably does. And half of her team didn’t want to show up. Bleh, bleh, bleh.
Big Mike kept getting pulled out of his team, Team Awesome. Due to the fact that his wife was giving birth. Don’t you just hate when babies ruin good times? They’re totally inconvenient… but as the day went on, and we saw more groups, his baby girl finally popped out. Awwww! And they showed pics… AwWwWwW! I want one. Ew, wait no. Out of his team, only his and Tim Urban (YAY) made it through.
Lady Gaga’s song “Bad Romance” (don’t get me singing that, PLZ) seemed to be a hit with allot of people. And Gwen Stefani’s song, “The Sweet Escape”. Both to me seem like very hard songs… and they were for the contestants.
The group, Neapolitan was apparently unliked by a few people. They stole, “Destiny’s Wild” song and choreography. Or something along those lines… because we all know that only ONE person can pick a song on the list. NOT! Get over yourselves… They sang the Lady Gaga song, and they actually did pretty good. Simon even liked it… And they all made it through. YAY!
The Might Rangers were up next… and they all sucked so bad. THEY ALL WENT HOME. That’s okay; I didn’t know who they were anyway.
Big Dreams: Oh this team is lovely. They have the Prison Boy, Matt Lawrence and Miss. Drama Mamma, Amanda Schechtman… but guess what? They all sucked. Why? Because they decided to do a Gwen Stefani song. NOT A GOOD IDEA! So, none of them made it through. W00t.
The next group, Middle C (ummm wth?) with a dude who took of his shirt to show his ugly little boy, manboobs and weird tuffs of hair on his chest… AKA, Casey James. HIS GROUP MADE IIIIT! Yay -> ? My Mom thinks he’s cute… ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Here comes the Wicked Witch and her ugly little flying moneys. I MEAN, Mary Powers and her team “The Dreamers”. I think I already mentioned them. As much nagging that was going on, and horrible team work… they phailed. Some forgot their words, some forgot where they were. Some started flying away after Dorothy (and her little dog too). So needless to say, they didn’t do so well. Mary, Hope Johnson, and Alex Lambert made it through. The rest didn’t.
71 people made it through to the next round. BOOYAH.
Annnnnd, so that was a fun show. Can’t wait for next week. Who was your favorite? Orrrr least favorite?!
