Simon Cowell may not come back to American Idol. That’s RIGHT! We may loose our beloved sarcastic Brit. What will we do?
I don’t know if this is completely true, but rumor has it that he wants to work on his other talent show, The X Factor. Perhaps he is loosing faith in us Americans? Trust me, I would too. Lolz!
Maybe that is why they are having Ellen Degeneres as a judge now. Of course, there is no way the she could replace Simon…
If Simon were to leave, I would cry. He is the only one that makes any sense and actually has an opinion of his own.
I’m pretty sure he WILL be back; he makes far too much money with that show to leave it for something the UK.
What do you guys think? Do you think he will be leaving? And if he did, would you still watch the show?

We were already considering not watching Idol this year for the first time since it started. Ellen is funny but there is absolutely no reason she is a judge on Idol. Idol’s judges have musical talent or a talent in the music business – Ellen has neither. America doesn’t need Ellen to be our voice – our voice is our vote. With Ellen, Idol’s judges were already becoming as lame as the judges on America’s Got Talent who have no reason for judging the talents of others. If Simon leaves then there is definately no reason to watch the show.

I didn’t watch it until the last 4 episodes of Season 5-at the suggestion of a cousin, who had noticed Taylor Hicks-I voted for Taylor-and I haven’t watched it since unless I knew Taylor was involved-
So would I miss Slimon? NOPE!!
