On the 4-28-09 American Idol Season 8 show, Adam Lambert performed the song, “Feeling Good“.
The Judges comments were:
Randy: “A little too Broadway for me, but you are in the zone.” Kara: “You’re shocking and sleazy in a good way!” Paula: “You make me feel better than good. Watching you perform is like watching the Olympics, and you are Michael Phelps.” Simon: “Best entrance we’ve had all year. You show you really want this, and you’re an entertainer.”

OMG I’m speechless, this was brilliant! No one can close to his voice and style in this competition. He’s THE BOMB!

This song is from The Roar of the Greasepaint—The Smell of the Crowd. Anthony Newley/Leslie Bricusse wrote it. Newley was in the musical on broadway during the “rat pack” years. It was done simply and uptempo on stage. Both Nina Simone and Sammy Davis did sultry covers of the song in the mid sixties. Such talent then.

He is beyond and above more talented than any of the other contestants, absolutely none of the others could have hit that last note. There are a lot of people voting based on hate, fear and homophobic issues. Adam will outsell any of the others and be around for a long, long time with this spectacular talent, he will be a SUPERSTAR with or without American Idol. Also, next week for Rock N Roll week he will knock it out of the ballpark. Please vote based on “Talent” and not other personal issues that exist in your mind but obviously not Adams, he is so inspirational, he has the strength to be who he is, know who he is, and that takes a very strong and secure person. I love his talent and also who he is.

Idol needs to go no further, they have the AM IDOL already he set the bar right from the outset no one is going to top that in fact no one has even in previous idols

I KNOW I WRITE EVERYDAY, BUT I JUST WATCHED THIS VIDEO AGAIN , THE VOICE IS SO TRULY MAGNIFICENT !I COULD LISTEN ALL DAY . LISTEN TO HIS PIANISSAMO’S AND HIS STRENGTH VOCALLY, I’II SAY IT AGAIN THIS IS A STAR.
