David Cook Romancing So You Think You Can Dance runner-up Lacey Schwimmer
American Idol Contestant David Cook has got a Reality TV hook up romance in the works with non other than So You Think You Can Dance runner-up Lacey Schwimmer.
Not Since Big Brother All-Stars have we seen a Showmance the likes of Dr. Will and Mike Boogie with Jenelle and Erika, take on the implications and extended 15 minutes of Hanky Panky that our Favorite Season 7 rocker David Cook is cooking up.
According to sources around the Idol Camp, David Cook has has been missing his curfew to hang out with his newly developed dancing sweetheart and that he has been sneaking away to see her during the day.
According to sources Lacey Schwinner, who finished in the top four of the dance contest last year, is “falling hard” for the rocker and that she’s been in the audience at the Idol tapings for the last two weeks.
The Cook met Schwinner two weeks ago during rehearsals for the Idol Gives Back special and they’ve already been on several dates.
Will this pair last? Or will the Reality TV Showmance Curse, afflict the Idol contestant and ex- So You Think You Can Dance Finalist? Time will tell.

David Cook is so awesome. It doesn’t surprise me to hear that he’s already got a hot girl in Hollywood. He is so talented and cute. I just can’t get enough of him. He seems like a really good person and I love his humor. If he’s as funny as his friends he should be doing standup inbetween his songs…he’s even got the funniest fan site ever.

Ok people! This rumor is NOT true. It is false, false FALSE! David clearly stated that he is single on a Results Show recently. He also mentioned he was single in an interview three weeks ago. I don’t think David would lie like that to his fans. No offense to Lacey, but she does not seem like the type of girl David would even be in to. Besides, she is NEVER in the audience. And what ever happened to her “knee injury”? If her knee was injured, she wouldn’t be able to meet up with David. The Idols barely have room to breath, let alone sneak away and date!
