disappointed!!! i think everyone forgot to vote for michael! thinking he would be safe because he is such a talent. what ashamed to see him go but randy and simon are right when they said get out there and get started with your rock career. i am sure we will definantly be hearing much more from you very soon!

Huh? Is everyone else posting on here deaf? America got this one exactly right. Michael Johns has always been a bad karaoke singer. For a long while I thought there was something wrong with my hearing or taste or whatever because the judges have been gushing about this guy - even with his obvious “pitch problems.” Even Kristy Lee has sounded better than him for a long time. Start listening to the singers and ignore the judges - especially Paula.

That’s it - I’m NOT watching any more American Idol this season - it’s crazy - Michael Johns was the only one with real STAR talent, and now he’s gone - there’s nobody left to watch…

Michael Johns did NOT sing the wrong song to be leaving. The young man is very talented and WORKS the CROWD better than any of the others! His voice is SINCERE and STRONG. I am not a young woman that is just excited over how GOOD LOOKING this man is…though I do admit he is very handsome………I believe in HIS MUSIC and the STYLE in which he performs. My best wishes for a GREAT CAREER that can MAKE PEOPLE FEEL…….Michael has a CALLING and he will do very WELL when people that actually know the industry get with him! Michael, you are so GENUINE and YOU DID WELL and will CONTINUE TO DO WELL!

I think they definitely got it WRONG!!!! Michael Johns should have not gone home and Ryan Seacrest could not have meaner with his comment about how they did not elimate anyone on Idol Gives Back last year but “good by to Michael Johns”. How cold is that? Ryan owes Michael an apologize for false hope and they should bring him back and just elimate 2 next week like they did last year.

There are a couple of girls that should have been voted off first, but it is not all about singing, it is a popularity contest based upon the people watching and voting. If you don’t like the outcome and didn’t vote, shut up. There are nights that I don’t watch it at all, it is getting boring, especially doing Beatles songs for two weeks. I get bored with Simon and Little Ryan going back and forth. Paula always looks wasted or drunk — she never makes sense. I am amazed this is such a popular show.

I’m STILL pissed!! WTF?!?!!
Michael had a great blues-y sounding voice and I LOVED whenever he would sing in that style. Or even the rock style which he did with Dream On. I don’t think it was a bad song choice…stupid show!! If it wasn’t for David Archuleta, I definitely would stop watching already. I didn’t think Michael would win it all, but I DID think he would make it to top 3.
This sucks…it’s gotta be rigged…you’ll be missed, Michael

It just shows you that it does not matter who the public votes for it’s what the producers think will bring in more rating’s in the end! To bad that little boy is going to win, then AI will go bankrupt from his lack of sale cuz really who is going to buy into him besides 12 year old girls. Might as well kiss AI good bye now. Good luck to the people in this compitions who actually have talent who will be pick off one by one to lead the way to victory for the little teeny boopper.

I am totally shocked, but them again when you leave the decisions up to america pretty much all you are getting is the little girls voting who really don’t know what good music sounds like. AI is really getting to be a dud.

Yes, shocked is too understated to descrive how I felt last night. I tried for over 1 1/2 hours to get through to get my vote and could not get through, only busy. I ried a few other s and go right through. Can they block a line or something. It just seems rigged, or maybe someone is wanting to give them a contract and does not want AI to get him. They have to come up with a different way of voting or AI will be through. God be with you Michael Lee Johns.
