Amanda Overmyer Sent Home on Idol March 19

Carly Smithson was the first person announced to be in the bottom three, which came as a shocker.

The second person was no shocker, Kristy Lee Cook.

Amanda Overmyer was the last person sent into the bottom three.

Carly Smithson was sent running back into the final Top 10, and it was between Amanda and Kristy Lee. Somehow, Kristy Lee managed to scrape by another week!

Amanda was an excellent choice to be kicked off!! She needs more vocal lessons and a hairstylist!

my daughter and I both cried when Amanda was voted off we just knew she was the next American idol, my daughter is 8 yrs old and believed in you so much every week we couldn’t wait to see your performance and style we both love so much, when you didn’t get into the top 10 and they announced Kristy into the top 10 my daughter ran through the house crying and that really made me cry because she is so much like Amanda, we will miss seeing you so much Amanda!
