Kellie Pickler will return to American Idol on 3-19-08 Results show

American Idol brought back Katharine McPhee last week during the result show, so it’s only fitting another former Idol return for the Wednesday Night March 19, 2008 voted off results show. That Idol would be season five’s Kellie Pickler.

Season Five finalist Kellie Pickler returns to the AMERICAN IDOL stage, to perform her hit single, “Red High Heels,” Wednesday, March 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

After competing on AMERICAN IDOL, Pickler signed with 19 Recordings/BNA Records, and soon thereafter released her debut album, “Small Town Girl.” The album quickly became the best-selling debut by a solo country artist that year and was certified gold in January 2007.

Pickler was recently nominated for Top New Female Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music, and earned her first Country Music Association nomination last fall. Her singles, “I Wonder” and “Red High Heels,” were both Top 15 hits, and her third single, “Things That Never Cross A Man’s Mind,” is currently in the Top 20. Pickler is currently on tour with Rascal Flatts.
