*Fourth one eliminated: Danny Noriega
We’re treated first off to a performance from last year’s Idol runner-up Blake Lewis.
8:10 p.m.: Ryan announces that Jason Castro, David Cook, and David Archuleta are going to be in the Top 12.
8:25 p.m.: Ryan announces that Brooke White, Syesha Mercado, made it into the Top 12, but Kady Malloy is going home tonight.
8:35 p.m.: Ryan announces David Hernandez and Michael Johns are among the Top 12. Luke Menard is going home.
8:45 p.m.: Ryan announces that Ramiele Malubay, Carly Smithson, and Amanda Overmyer are safe and will be joining the Top 12. We’re down to Kristy Lee Cook, Asia’h Epperson, Chikezie Eze, and Danny Noriega.
8:50 p.m.: Kristy Lee Cook beats out Asia’h Epperson for the Top 12. Poor Asia’h, she was so good!
It’s down to Danny or Chikeze. Chikeze Eze makes the American Idol Top 12 and Danny Noriega is voted off American Idol.

I like Kady Malloy, but she did have to go unfortunately. She is young and will make something of herself I am sure. She has talent and the looks and is not “Robotic” as Simon likes to say

I’m upset abot Noreiga kid!! I thought he was very good - but do you think America is not ready for a Gay Idol??? That is unfortunates - I thought Chipeeze was not that good Monday nite - sounds too much like Luther Vandross.
