American Idol Fan Site | Who got voted off American Idol

The boys are singing songs from the 1970s tonight.

Please bear with me; I am very siiiccckkk but am trying my best to give you accurate updates tonight!

8:00 p.m.: Michael Johns is up first. He sings “You Can Go Your Own Way” by Fleetwood Mac. The judges thought it was a mediocre performance.

8:10 p.m: Jason Castro is up next. He sings “I want to be your everything” by Andy Gibb. The judges panned his performance, telling him to ditch the guitar next time.

8:15 p.m.: Luke Menard is third. He sings “Killer Queen” by Queen. The judges thought it was theatrical but lacking in charisma.

8:26 p.m.: Robbie Carrico is fourth. He sings “Hot Blooded” by Foreigner. The judges thought he played it safe, though Simon said his vocals were okay tonight.

8:35 p.m.: Danny Noriega is next. He sings “Super Star” by the Carpenters. The judges thought he was trying too hard and was over concentrating. However, they think he looks terrific on camera.

8:45 p.m.: David Hernandez is sixth. He sings “Papa was a Rolling Stone,” by the Temptations. He receieved excellent critiques from the judges. Simon said it was the best of the night.

8:55 p.m.: Jason Yeager is next. He sings “Long Train Runnin’ ” by The Doobie Brothers. The judges thought it was a corny karaoke performance.

9:05 p.m.: Chikezie Eze is up eighth. He sings “I Believe” by Donny Hathaway. The judges thought they loved it, and it was brilliant. Clever choice of song, a million times better than last week.

9:10 p.m.: David Cook is next. He sings “All Right Now” by Free. The judges thought he was authentic and that he’s a real rocker. Simon thought he was dull.

9:20 p.m.: David Archuleta is last but not least. He sings “Imagine” by John Lennon. The judges thought it was brilliant. Paula was brought to tears and spouted off some crazy stuff about wanting to rip David’s head off, which I’m assuming is a good thing? Simon says that he’s the one to beat.
