American Idol Fan Site | Who got voted off American Idol

Each week on American Idol, the remaining singers must perform songs from an approved List that represents a certain theme. On the Top 24 week the Idol Boys and Idol Girls sang songs from the 60’s. They were given a list of 50 songs to chose from.

This week on the American Idol Top 20 the Boys will perform on Tuesday 2-26-08 February 26, 2008 and the Idol Girls on 2-27-08 February 27, 2008. The Theme for the night will be you guessed it the 70’s. The Top 10 Boys and Top 10 Girls will receive a list of 50 songs from the 1970’s and will pick one to perform.

The Live elimination night were 2 girls and 2 boys will be voted off American Idol will be on Thursday 2-28-08.

The following week, 3-4-08 and 3-5-08 the American Idol theme will be the 80’s. Where all songs from their list to chose from will be from the 1980’s. The Idol elimination night will be on 3-6-08 were 4 more Idols will be voted off American Idol and we will reach our Idol Top 12.

The song lists they receive each week are limited based on the usage rights for the songs that are retained by the Idol Show. Several more popular songs will not be available because the Idol producers could not retain the usage rights to have the songs performed on their program. Keeping that in mind, What songs would you hope the Idols will perform in the next two weeks? What would be a good song choice for each Idol to perform. Here is your chance to speak out.
