Amanda Overmyer was better, the song sucked, and could barely hear her vocals. Idol usually saves the best performances for last. So it is bound to get better. You can Bet the Pimp Spot is Carly Smithson ( last of evening) and all judges will gush all over her perforamce wether it sucks or not. She is their Ace in the hole so to speak…

Amy Davis sang “Where the boys are” from Connie Francis. it was pretty bad and she might be voted off Idol. but she has a modeling carrer to fall back upon.
Brook White I actually liked. “Happy together” from The Turtles. Got to love her open happy personality. her happiness seems to bug Simon..

Alexandrea Lushington’s song “Spinning Wheels” from Blood, Sweat & Tears was pretty good. The wife agreed with Simon and didn’t like the vocal. I liked the perfromance.
