8:53 p.m.–Four people are left, and there are only 2 spots left. Colton Berry and Kyle Ensley walk in together. Colton gets a yes, while Kyle is given a no. Kyle wants to get into politics, so thankfully for him he has more irons in the fire! Cardin McKinney and Joanne Borgella also go in together. Surprisingly, Joanne makes it and Cardin doesn’t. I really like Joanne, but I’m surprised that Cardin didn’t go further in this season. She had the looks and the talent! At any rate, we had the spoiled list of the Top 24 and weren’t wrong! Stay tuned next week to see what happens with the finalists!
8:42 p.m.–Garrett Haley, Kady Malloy, Chikezie Eze, Amy Davis, Alaina Whitaker, Jason Yeager, Asiah Epperson, whose father passed away days before her audition, and David Hernandez all make it through. The kid who lived in his car, Josiah Leming, did not make it through. At least he has a roof over his head still, and four wheels….
8:33 p.m.–Shawn Barrows gets a “No” from the judges. Aussie Michael Johns gets a yes, as does Syesha Mercado, the girl who belted it out even though she lost her voice at the auditions. Former boy-bander Robbie Carrico also made it through.
8:21 p.m.–Country crooner Kristy Lee Cook becomes one of the selected few. Brooke White, my personal favorite, the shy friendly blond with a beautiful voice, was also accepted. Danny Noriega, Jason Castro, Luke Menard, and Alexandra Lushington, and Ramiele Malubay, also made it.
8:13 p.m.–David Cook, the rocker, was inducted into the top 24. Biker nurse Amanda Overmyer was also accepted. So was the cutie teen David Archeleta. Others were not so lucky.
8:00 p.m.–Ryan Seacrest hangs out with Hayden Christensen in another shameless Fox Promotion. The judges deliberate on who their top 24 contestants will be. Ronald Hodge is up first for judging. He failed to make the Top 24. Irish cutie Carly Smithston was the first person to get a “yes” vote from the judges.

All right! Sweet! I was rooting for a couple of those that didn’t make it, but overall I like pretty much everyone in the top 24. I think this is going to be a great season!

american idol has officially become a joke.
today, all the singers sound,look and are forgettable. josiah deserved to be part of the 24
he was different and very, very good and did not make it because of randy” sorry fat black ass. him and paula haven”t got a clue on talent and simon is
an ego maniac. thus, their the one”s with no talent.
