Asia’h Epperson, 18 from Joplin, MO auditioned for American Idol Season 7 in Atlanta.
Asia’h Epperson tells how she called her dad before leaving for the audition and her father was killed in a car accident shortly thereafter. Just two days later, she was standing before the judges to audition, singing “How Do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes, in honor of her father.

Asia’h your a wonderful singer and you defenitly have my vote. i know your going to succceed in life and get somewhere with a voice like yours but mostly i wanna say im really sorry about your dad i know exactly how you feel because my dad died 2 days after my 15th birthday from cancer last year.My dad was my world and he still is. So keep your head up and know he is always with you.
