American Idol Auditions from Dallas Texas aired this evening on Fox’s Reality Show American Idol. Sadly is was actually kind of boring. The talent they showed was mediocre with the exceptions of Kady Malloy and Alaina Whitaker, that recieved Golden Hollywood Tickets.
What escaped this show, was contestants that have made it through to the Hollywood round and possibly into the top 12 from the Dallas Auditions, even the much anticipated showing of Former American Idol Fantasia’s Brother Ricco Barrino.
We saw a few names that received Golden Hollywood Tickets such as:
Jessica Brown, Pia Easley, Brandon Green, Kaylah Hatfield, Kyle Ensley, Colton Swon, Drew Poppelreiter, and Nina Shaw.
We saw a few wackos and Douglas Davison who wouldn’t stop singing, we saw Renaldo Lapuz with his own Brothers song he sang in his Asia White Pimp Suit. We saw Paul Stafford who reminded me of the old Sesame Street Character Stuff-a-luff-a-Gus. We saw Brandon Green who made it to Hollywood but has an obsession for collecting his fingernail clippings, or rather ones “he rips off”. We saw Simon let in people with a Golden ticket to Hollywood who had no reason to be allowed to continue. We saw Simon turn down some with talent, but let other pass that were really bad. What’s wrong with this picture?
I am sorry guys and Gals, I was just not impressed with tonights show. In the prior post I reference with a link, I was hoping to see some of the Dallas Talent that makes it farther in this competition. Anyway. It was a Boring show, hope next weeks 1-22-08 and 1-23-08 American Idol shows will be better.
We can only hope. It can’t get much worse can it?
