American Idol Predictions for 5-16-07
With only 3 contestants remaining, Blake Lewis, Melinda Doolittle and Jordin Sparks, this one is just way to close to call.
All three of the Idols performed extremely well in their Final 3 performances. Each received good reviews from the judges.
Only Melinda Doolittle stood out the most and got the endorsement from Simon Cowell. Randy chimed in and called for an all female final 2 which would be Melinda and Jordin.
We can’t count out Blake however. He has a significant fan base. This is a very close race, that might have either Jordin or Blake being voted off.
Dial Idol which has been an accurate predictor of idol votes show the result predictions as :
1-3 Melinda Doolittle 29.67

1-3 Jordin Sparks 27.74
-
1-3 Blake Lewis 27.15
However these numbers all fall within the margin of Error. Idol predictions are just too close to call. Anyone of the 3 could be going home tonight. A Shocker would be seeing the exit of Melinda Doolittle.
Will that happen?

If anyone had any sense in them they would vote for Blake. He is the most orginal! How many other times have you heard the same songs sung by the same type of voice (such as Melinda and Jordin) Blake deserves this. Melinda has already had her chance as a backup singer and Jordin was like a model or something so give Blake a shot here! I think its his turn to shine!

Blake is amazing! He has the most original voice that I have ever heard! My friends and family just love him! If he is voted off tonight I will be shocked!

I think blake should win because he is a great singer and i origanal.melinda should get voted off and then jordan.if blake gets voted off i will be shocked.so if blake stays VOTE for him.hes so so so hott.

I think blake should take the title of American Idol hes is the most original i really like jordin to but she is so young i just dont think they will want to sign her because shes underage and they will have to sign with her parents so i dont know i just hope blake wins and melinda is sent home tonight!! I love Blake Lewis

Oh contraire, Taylor Hicks won American Idol last year and how many cd’s has he sold. Katherine McPhee should have been the one to win with her beauty, voice, etc - all the things that everyone say should win American Idol. Melinda is the best singer and will sell the most cd’s in the long haul and will be around for a long time. Talk about talent…. the other two, I am sorry lack the voice of a good singer. America is fickle and should really pay attention to talent. Let’s face it, after all it is a TALENT CONTEST not based on what everyone thinks is good looks, charisma, etc. Just my opinion….

I DO NOT THINK BLAKE SHOULD GO HOME. I LOVE HIM AND THINK HE IS MOST ORIGINAL. MELINDA SHOULD GO HOME AND THE TOP 2 WILL BE JORDIN AND BLAKE. I HOPE AMERICAN VOTED FOR BLAKE!!!

this a prejudice move on americans. I have noticed that for the past several episodes the best blacks have been eliminated. who can sing lackesha melinda stepanie and others blake cannot do shit…. he is a boom box player not a daaam singer. has he ever hit a high note….. let us see what will happen in the finals when the sparks burn out his trash….

Sad to see Melinda go but her record sales will far exceed poor Blake and Jordin. Blake is merely a fad for young white girls 21 and under. Beat box is so old and yester year but seems to be new to most america for some reason. Jordin although having a great voice and command of her vocal range doesn’t seem to have a genre or niche of music to call her style. Plus at 17 the wearing of the heels seem to cut into her performance along with the lack of a manicure. Its is SO sad that this years american idol is seeming to be like last years (I voted for Taylor), not the best singer but the latest fad.

Well America has got it wrong again!!! How could the most consistent singer in American Idol’s history be voted off after having such a flawless night? Who is voting? Are people not hearing what I’m hearing? Jordin can only sing sappy ballads and well I don’t mind Blake. He’s as original as it gets. But again another talented performer has been robbed of the big prize…Tamyra Gray/Chris Daughtry anyone!!!!

All you Blake fans are just into his wannabe beat-boxing ways…like someone said before…that has already been done by the greatest of all time beat-boxer Doug E. Fresh. For ya’ll that don’t know beat-boxing has been here for over 30 years and Blake is not doing anything special…he’s original for adding his sounds to old music but come on…his singing isn’t all that.
It seems that America is very prejudice because they are obviously not voting for singing talent….they like everything Black in a White package…Eminem/Thicke/JT anyone!!!!

Did anyone but my friend and I catch that Ryan said that Melinda was going home right after he was done talking to Elliot Yamin? Melinda had a stunned look on her face. I doubt if Ryan was supposed to say it at the time but that was kind of low.
