The May 15, 2007 American Idol Final 3 show will include 3 songs by each performer. The American Idol Judges each pick a song for one of the three remaining contestants.
Simon Cowell got to pick a song for Jordin Sparks. Simon chose Rose Royce’s 1978 hit “Wishing On A Star†for Jordin.
Paula ABdul picked the song for Blake. Paula chose Stings’ “Roxanne†for Blake.
Randy Jackson picked the song for Melinda. Randy chose a Whitney Houston song, “I Believe In You And Me†for Melinda.
Could the deck be stacked against Melinda and Blake?
The Judges always harp on contestants that pick songs that are too big for them or attempt to sing a popular song that can’t compare to the original performer. Paula and Randy’s choices of Whitney Houston and Sting songs could invoke those comparison and receive the wrath of the very judges that picked them. “Yo Dog, it didn’t work for me” is Randy Jackson favorite critic. Will we hear him utter that statement again tonight 5-15-07?
In past Idol performances the contestant that performs last usually gets the most votes as well as the best judges compliments. What will the order be tonight 5-15-07? We will she who the Idol producers are backing based upon the order as well as what we know about the judges song choices. Are American Idol Producers Backing Jordin Sparks. It does appear that way in recent shows, and we will find out for sure tonight based upon performance order and comments by the Judges.
Tune in tonight for the 1 hour show and then again on May 16, 2007 ( 5-16-07) to find out who was voted off American Idol.

Idol Producers Gave Melinda Doolittle the Final Spot, the Judges gave glaring reviews and Endorsed Melinda on to the Finals. Idol Producers have backed Melinda Doolittle, therefor no Controversy…yet. Waiting on the Votes, to see who will be voted off.
