It’s a shame that people have stooped to a level when someone suggests to vote for the worst american idol (Sanjaya Malakar) and win prizes for voting for him the most times. Are people in this country so narrow minded?! Sheep being led and manipulated, just like Adolph Hitler did to hundreds of thousands of people. Either that, or the people in this country are tone deaf!!!!
If Sanjaya Malakar were any kind of good hearted person, he would step down move on. William Hong can sing better than Sanjaya Malakar. My wife use to look forward to watching American Idol, but two weeks ago when Sanjaya Malakar was not voted off and she found out about “Vote for the worst Idol (Malakar)”, she will not watch it again……..EVER. She stated, “why do people do that!?” Gina Glocksen………a person with more singing talent than Sanjaya Malakar that could have made it to the final four possibly, voted off because of a gimmick. Sanjaya…….man up and step off!!

unbeleivable, Sanjaya Malakar is still on, and Gina an obvious much better singer was voted off. What is wrong with you people? Are you deaf.

American Idol producers are to blame for Sanjaya. They should not complain. The judges decided who would be on the show and subject to America’s votes, so they should not have allowed anybody in the group that they were not willing to accept as the american idol!! They deserve ehat they get..

Ok I’ve been working until late at night and my parents have been kind enough to tape the show for me… I’m very disappointed that someone with singing talent was voted off the show (Gina) and that someone that the judges call a “performer” aka Sanjaya is still on the show. His song choices clearly demonstrate that he isnt a great singer. I agree with Fred that the judges are to blame because they got him to where he is but I dont understand why people are voting for him… its a singing competition and he should have been eliminated…

i cannot believe sanjya didnt get voted off!!! i think people r voting for the worst people so that person will win!!! for one he has no voice. and for another he is ugly and cant sing worth shit!! hes worse than my gay brothers singing!

I can’t believe that America is doing this. I am so dissappointed that people would ruin a perfectly good show. I know that not everyone likes Idol but come on. Leaving him on the show is absurd. I really feel sorry for him. Its not his fault that people don’t vote him off, but I do wish he would step down from the show. If he wins there will never be another American Idol which sucks cause it is one of my favorite shows. But really whats the point of watching anymore because people obviously aren’t watching to see who sang the best, they have their minds made up who they will vote for before the show ever starts. This is just sad and I wish that it could be different. Howard Stern is an ass and so are the people who came up with votefortheworst.com. Thanks for ruining everyone elses fun!

I can’t believe that Sanjaya is still on the show!!!! HE NEEDS TO BE VOTED OFF! If he wins I’m not going to even watch the show anymore. America doesn’t care about talent anymore. The teenagers these days just care about looks. Look at the music they listen to. They are just ruining it for those of us who do care about talent.

All of you morons who are doing what Howard Stern tells you too need to grow a brain and think for yourselves. You complain about the show and want to destroy it because someone else says you should. Don’t watch! Quit ruining good tv for the rest of us. You all should realize that you are just feeding Howard’s huge ego, and he is most likely sitting at home laughing at what retards Americans are that they would do what he said because they are obviously too stupid to think for themselves. Not one of you people who are in favor of Sanjaya has given a reason that wasn’t followed by “Go Stern!” Get an effing life!

you are telling people to get a life, because u feel that a show about a random group of singers is being tarnished by their RIGHT to vote for whoever they want? The show doesn’t say that you have to vote for who you think is the best singer, or even best performance, you vote for who you want to stay on. It is so simple. all of you people need to relize that this show isn’t the end all be all of television.

My husband and I use to love to watch American Idol. Sanjaya should have been the first one off. I don’t know how he can get up on that stage and make an ass out of himself week after week. He has to know that he is only getting votes because some foolish people decided to vote for the worst singer and performer
on the show. It is a shame. We no longer watch the show and almost everyone we know has quit watching it too. A show that once was enjoyabe is nothing but a big joke. And the people that are voting for him because of Howard Stern should be ashamed of themselves. And Howard Stern is cruel for doing this to Sanjaya.
If Sanjaya has any self dignity, he will step down and be a man about it.

I am surprised about some of the comments about who’s singing is awful and who’s isn’t? Sanjaya is not a bad singer. He is 17 and an unknown and lacks the experience to belt out on a stage like Melinda or Lakisha but he is fairly good when he picks old crooner type music which is what seems to appeal to him. Unfortunately, this type of music is not what young kids love to listen too and he is constantly told by the judges to choose more modern music which is a match for how young he looks. But pop or modern music is not suitable for his voice. I loved Gina and was really sad she was voted off (I voted for her every week) especially since her performance this past week was probably her best vocally. Gina was fortunate in that the type of music she prefers is modern and could sell records to the masses if she ever recorded anything. However, Gina was often sloppy in her vocals when singing what she loved and you can see that by the judges comments week after week. Randy is always telling her she’s pitchy, and watch her breathing. Diana Ross gave her some great criticism one week that she has already forgotten. She doesnot enunciate he words clearly in a song. She often trails off or is out of breath on the end of her notes. She needs work if she was to become the next Kelly Clarkson or Amy Lee which she has definite potential to be. People forget that someone as fantastic as Melinda Doolittle has been in the music biz for years already. To compare some of the others to her and judge them is unfair. To quit watching a show that has done so much good for so many young talents and brought us some great music is an odd reaction. This season’s group is very tame if not a little boring. Sanjaya has kept it a little light hearted. What is wrong with that.

This is not a win for Sanjaya, it’s a win for Howard Stern, who has nothing better to do than use the teeny boppers to promote his own selfish motives. You are his vessels and puppets. He definetly has an impact on all this by encouraging everyone to vote often and continually.
As I have stated before, Sanjaya has a charm about him but does not have the vocals , right now, to succeed in the professional music world.
This is giving Sanjaya a superfical sense in his future as a great singer.
To sacrifice the others who were voted off defeats the purpose of this show, which is to give a future in a singing career who deserve it.

It’s sad to see Gina leave. Although she probably wouldn’t have ended being this year’s idol, she certainly deserved to last a few more weeks. She is a much better singer/performer than Phil/Haley/Chris/and obviously Sanjaya too. That being the case, she should have remained at least another 4 weeks. She was one of the few left who I looked forward to seeing/hearing each week.

OH MY GOD! this is ridiculous! i REALLLLLYYYYY liked gina! i CANNOT beleive that sanjaya, haley, and phil are still there. personally i dont think they can sing at all. But, Gina was a very good singer! sanjaya, hayley, and phil should have left WAY before poor gina. i am so mad! You dont even know! & i dont know how phil could EVER be an american IDOL because when i look at him he scares me by his eyes and bals head! now i dont even know who i like in this competition. Gina was my favorite for sure! now she is gone?! thats soooooo stupid! :(
