Updates on Rachel Zevita American Idol 2011 Season 10 at the bottom of this post along with spoilers of her Idol Season 10 chances.
American Idol Auditions in New York introduced us to Rachel Zevita. The 18 year old singing prodigy is enrolled as an opera student. Rachel Zevita musical background and training includes prestigious schooling in Newy York that includes Cuny Hunter College, Cuny Queens College, Manhattan School Of Music and attended Fiorello H. La Guardia 
High school.
On the American Idol Auditions in New York Rachel Zevita sang 3 songs. Eternal Life by Jeff Buckley, Get Here (If You Can) and then an opera number.
Well, this is all a bit of a guessing game now, Rachel. We’ve heard three different songs, who do you want to be? Simon Cowell Commented.
Rachel Zevita replied American Idol I can sing anything, every week you guys pick a different theme, I can sing anything.
Simon backtracked and said that he wasn’t criticizing but wanted to know who she would like to be.Â
Rachel Zevita replied “I would like to be me, and me, I’m a singer, songwriter, and a rock star.”
American Idol quest judge Carol, along with Randy, and Paula all said yes to Rachel going to Hollywood, and Simon Cowell just said You’re all coming to Hollywood.
Look for Rachel Zevita to go far in the America Idol Contest. Will she make the top 12 or even be our next American Idol?

Rachel Zevita got a Golden Ticket for American Idol 2011 Season 10. Rachel Zevita was cut in Hollywood Week in the American Idol Season 6 process. Will she make ti this time?
Rachel Zevita made it to the HollyWood Round of 40 in American Idol 2011 Season 10. Rachael Zevita had a scholarship to a music school that conflicted with the Idol contract so she put the school first and dropped out of Idol once she had to make a decision. That is why she was visibly upset. She was not DQed. She walked away on her own.
So Rachel Zevita maybe in a year or two?

I have watched the show with semi-regularity since the first season. I have never been as impressed with an artist as I am with Rachel. To belt out “Eternal Life” , “Get Here (If You Can)” and some opera piece in consecutive 30 second blips without missing a note is astonishing. I see a very old soul laying it out for the rest of us to gaze in wide wonder. My prediction is that she will have difficulty during the group phase, but if she survives that she will win the contest. But, in the big picture this contest is meaningless for her future. She is, as of her television debut, discovered. She will do great things, many of which might not be understood in the mainstream. My concern is that anything burning as brightly as Rachel cannot stay lit for long. I hope she doesn’t pull a Janis Joplin exit.

That is what I want to know! I haven’t seen her on American Idol. She wasn’t even any of the ones that were kicked off. Hmmm……quite a mystery.

Rachel Zevita made it to through the first Hollywood round but didn’t the final cuts for the Top 40. The producers decided not to air any information about her for some reason.

Well what can you say someone with a bit of everything, Simon said you´re all going to Hollywood! now as he also like´s to remind us :- it´s a SINGING CONTEST, and Rachel can SING but it´s more about the three stooges than the contestants in my opinion. Someone come´s along a multi singing Talent and what happen´s they don´t even tell us ???? i sure hope that Rachel tries it again; next time round.
If not then she should indefinably carry on with her singing career a fan.
