In the latest Idol alum news, Katherine McPhee will be guest starring as herself on the insanely popular ABC comedy “Ugly Betty” on February 1. The episode is titled “I’m Coming Out” and features a runway show put on by Mode magazine.

The show marks the beginning of both February sweeps and Idol 2007!
