Seattle is the final stop on seven-city audition tour for the “American Idol” TV show.
Organizers expect thousands of hopefuls to line up outside Key Arena at 305 Harrison Street.
According to the “American Idol” Web site, no one was allowed to line up before 6 a.m. Sunday. Registration began Sunday and will continue to the early morning Tuesday. Auditions start about 8 .m. Tuesday.
Some who sing for an Idol staffer will be asked to return for more auditions. They’ll be narrowed down to the few who will get a plane ticket to Hollywood.
