‘American Idol’ host Paula Abdul has crossed the pond to join Simon Cowell on the British version of the show ‘The X Factor’.
However, Abdul kept ‘X Factor’ hopefuls waiting house before she turned up to auditions in London.
Abdul was told to be at the studio for 10am but did not make an appearance until 6pm.
An insider told the Sun: “Her people said she was feeling shattered due to jet lag, so we started without her. When she did turn up, she seemed shocked when the crew talked to her.
“On American Idol the judges are treated like gods but on X Factor everyone mucks in. She seemed bemused. But she checked into her hotel at Donna Prima, so obviously she can have a laugh at herself at times.â€
The X Factor kicks off again on ITV in August.
