American Idol Fan Site | Who got voted off American Idol

My 11 Year old Step-Daughter Loves American Idol. She took notes once again for me for the the 4-18-06 show. Here are her thoughts:

Chris Daughtry was the first performer:
“Yo, no beard and the make up is gone” – Good Move!
Chris was ok – need a better song, just not him. Not a good outfit
He sang, ” What a Wonderful World”
Simon said, “Great”
Randy she didn’t hear his comments, was too busy getting paper to write this report.
Paul. Ditto, she missed the comments
Kara’s over all comment on Chris Daughtry: Not enough Rock!

The second performer was Paris Bennett.
Song: “Foolish things”
Kara Comments: I always thought she was horrible even though I haven’t heard the song yet.  It’s ok, but I am a big fan of the song, it could be better, but maybe it’s because I hate Jazz.  I mean it’s not bad- you would love it if yuou were a jazz fan.

Randy’s comments: Greatest night even, Da Bomb.
Paula’s Comments: If you made an album it would blow up
Simons Comments: Talk like a Minnie Mouse but sing great

The thrid performer was Taylor Hicks
Song: “You Send Me”
Kara’s comments: Great! He’s Good with classical, He’s cute. Ok outfit, don’t like suits – Nice Dew!

Randy: “You put yourself in at the end”
Paula: “Fantastic ending”
Simon: “Started Lame, then Magic”

The 4th perfomer was Elliott Yamin
Kara thinks Elliot looks like Mr Thumnus from the chronicales of Nirvia

Song: “It Had to be you”
Kara’s comment:  Cool a Richmong Va Person ( we live in Richmond Va).  Weird Background music, I kinda didn’t like it.  Was pretty good though.

Randy: Very nice, very nice
Paula: so in American Idol Zone, Best this season
Simon: Good Vocals – Lacked Personality.

Then came Kelly Pickler:
Song: Bewitched, Bewilded and Beguilted? ( LOL)
Kara’s Comments:  Ok Not Good,  Didn’t really like but definately not going home, it was Boring. My Mom said, “What an Idiot”

Randy: ” Got pitchy in the middle, Very tricky song”
Paula: “Were Ahead of the Music, but good”
Simon: ” Wasn’t great, not like you picked the song”
Kellie, ” I’m Sorry”  ( here usual retort)

Up 6th was Ace Young:

Song: ?
Kara Comments: Yuck, Ugly hair in a Bun! Stupid he needs to go Home.

Randy: ? missed it
Paula: Weird Night, Magical
Simon: wasn’t bad, a little bit lazy
Kara’s Final Comment: Simons Stupid, Ace’s Hair is Ugly!!!

The final idol for 4-18-06 was Katharine McPhee
Song: “Someone to watch over me”
Kara’s comments: Don’t like people sitting when they sing, but it was ok.
Kara’s missed what Randy, Paula, and Simon commented, however they all though Katharine was incredible and the best of the evening.
