American Idol:Â Results had Ace Young, Lisa Tucker and Melissa McGhee with least votes.
One of the biggest shocks came with Ace Young appearing in the bottom three. Kevin Covais, the favorite to be booted off this evening with -100 odds, was not in the bottom three.
Ace Young had odds of being eliminated at +3000, a far cry from Katharine McPhee’s or Chris Daughtry’s +10000 odds, but his lack of votes came as a complete shock considering he has been listed among the favorites to win since the competition began.
Ultimately, it was Melissa McGhee voted off. She was listed with odds of +334 to be eliminated.
Kellie Pickler looked like a pretty good choice for elimination based on performances alone. Hers was awful! But Kellie did have the “it” factor, so one lousy performance might have still gotten her by. Pickler dropped from comfortable odds of 25 to 1 all the way down to 14 to 1 by the time American Idol aired. She moves onto the next round.Â
Another shocker, Lisa Tucker with +4000 odds of being eliminated, also ended up in the bottom three.
This is why it is so important to bet on American Idol. Imagine if either Ace Young or Lisa Tucker were to have been voted off with such huge payout odds. WOW!
McGhee still paid $3 for every $1 bet or $300 for every $100 bet.
32.5 million votes were cast Tuesday evening.
Canbet will be featuring the latest odds on American Idol come Thursday. With Ace Young dropping to the bottom, anything can happen and some of these contestants are listed with huge payout odds.
