The American Idol contestants got to sing some newer songs tonight. You know what this means? No crappy crap by crappy contestants… I mean, no old stuff no one cares about. The Theme for Idol tonight was 21st Century Week. I was really hoping for some Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Kesha and Rebecca Black. Oh damn, too bad it’s not Friday. But for now, Jacob Lusk choose “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross.
Cait’s thoughts…
I boycott this giant. Seriously. I cannot stand him. I hope he goes home. What a boring song.
Judges thoughts…
Steven: “You remind me why I love music. Your daddy was up there with you.”
J-Lo: “You have to have enough control.”
Randy: “Emotionally it was a great performance, but vocally it wasn’t good.”

I have never liked this guy – huge ego and so-so singer. I guess if you have judges telling you how great you are, you think you are a star. Thank you Randy – for saying part of the truth last night. Ready for Lusk to go home.

Jacob is a good singer. I say this un bias. I don’t like gospel and would prefer to see him go home though.

Please he is a good singer. I bet half of you think Stefano can sing. He is horrible. Jacob is a christian and we always get put down. Why is he a drama Queen?

Dee, bringing religion into this immediately invalidates anything you have to say. Stefano has a crucifix on every night, so I can just say anyone that doesn’t like him just doesn’t like Christians, right? Wrong.
Jacob can sing circles around Stefano. No one with half an ear should argue that. His range is great and he’s got loads of talent. But he is also extremely dramatic, and i you don’t admit it, you’re either being stubborn or you haven’t been watching the show. Jacob will have an audience out there, but it’s gonna be secretaries that also love Luther Vandross. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but my point is that, while Stefano should definitely go before Jacob, Mr. Lusk has also worn out his welcome in this late stage of the competition.

jacob got lots of talent and i consider him one of the best. People who are spiritual will understand. This guy is blessed. Obviously he got his gift from above. I’m his biggest fan from day 1, and will continue to vote for him. Who cares about his appearance or colour. Its a singing competition. who god bless no man can curse. so live with it

All of you suppose to be judges, how do you know anything about Jocob? Have you been with him? I thought he was judged on his ability to sing. You don’t know what that man is the Bible tells me judge ye not less ye be judged. And he can sing, he’s not yelling all over the place trying to sing. You can beleive someone will have him recording. You all need to look at your self Matt: 7:3 And beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

You are right so why are you all trying to judge him on his mannerism? He, to be for real is the best singer on the show. Maybe he’s not the best performer as far as yelling all over the place. It’s as I said before someone will pick him up to record because he is a great singer with a God given voice. As I said judge ye not less ye be judged, and get the beam out of your own eye.

Hope you saw Jacob on the Jay Leno Show last night.
Steven Tyler was on the show and probably had something to do with him being there.
He is a real true man and had only good things to say about Jacob.
I told you he would make it thats only the beginning for him.
Steven said Jacob was an angel sent from above.
God has truly blessed him with a voice.
