American Idol Voted Off
American Idol is back Live on February 17, 2009 (2-17-09) and your votes count. The first set of 12 of 36 contestants will perform on the 2 hour show 8PM-10PM for your votes. The full schedule of the Top 36 rounds can be seen here. There are 3 Rounds of 12 each that are attempting to make the TOP 12 American Idol Season 8. Three contestants will be voted into the rounds on the next three Wednesday nights based on their Tuesday Night performances. Got that? A big difference from seasons past. Those that don’t make have one more shot a making a final 3 spots based solely on the Judges decisions.
The 12 we will see perform on Tuesday Feb 17, 2009 are:

Stevie Wright
Anne Marie Boskovich
Jackie Tohn
Casey Carlson
Alexis Grace
Anoop Desai
Michael Sarver
Stephen Fowler
Danny Gokey
Ricky Braddy
Brent Keith
The top 3 vote getter’s will earn a spot in the top 12. The other 9 will move into a final elimination round in which the American Idol Judges of Randy, Paula, Kara, and Simon will Pick 3 more contestants to round out the top 12 from the remaining 27 that didn’t get voted into the Top 12 from the 3 rounds of Top 36 show down.
If American Votes based on talent we should see Danny Gokey and Anoop Desai take 2 of the 3 spots and I have a feeling that the most annoying Idol Contestant ever, Tatiana Del Toro will gain the the final spot of this round of 12.
Does she deserve it, Hell No, will she get it Hell Yes she will. Remember Sanjaya Malaka? She is the Vote for the Worst Queen of Idol and I see her interrupting this Contest at least into the TOP 12 and beyond. I hope that this is one Idol prediction in which I am wrong, but my track record has been spot on for 3 years running. Sorry Folks, It the hideous laugh, over the top gestures, emotions and crap for Tatiana Del Toro for longer then we can stand it.

I think this is going to be a hard call because two of the contestants. Desai and Boskovich, have a fan base going into AI.

These aren’t the people I necessarily like, but these are the three I believe will make it into the Top 12.
Top Guy- Danny Gokey
Top Girl- Jackie Tohn
Next Highest- Brent Keith
I’d like to see Stephen Fowler make it through.

I don’t think Tatiana has a chance with the viewers, but I fear that Idol will rig the votes so that she stays in for ratings. I haven’t talked to one person who wants her to move on. So if she does, I will know that it is rigged.
