Are you ready for Season 8 of American Idol? Or American Idol Season 8 with some more soon to be household names and some names that could be familiar to many already?
In the true nature of spoiling in this post we just just name a few of the TOP Names that made it to the American Idol Season 8 Top 50. A full list will appear in a future post but with enough space as to not spoil all the goodies.
American Idol Spoiler Alert
This season of American Idol Top 50 Spoilers we have celebrity offspring, celebrity siblings, beauty queens, an actress and a few others that made it past the four panel judges and AI producers.
The Singer:
David Osmond, the nephew of Donny & Marie Osmond and son of Alan Osmond from the original Osmond’s singing group popular in the 1970’s.
The Actress:
Jackie Tohn, a Long Island native who has been an actress since nine years old. Jackie Tohn has appeared in episodes of TV’s “The Nanny” “The Sopranos”, and “Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia” among others according to her IMBD resume.
The Beauty Queen:
Danielle “Danni” Roundtree, who was named Miss New York USA 2008. She lives in Queens and sings in jazz clubs, according to reports.
The Husband and Wife Top 50 Season 8 American Idols
Jennifer Korbee
Jennifer Korbee, madden name Jennifer Peterson-Hind is an actress and country music singing hopeful. She starred in the children show “Hi-5″ and has worked on two country albums. She has made it into the Hollywood rounds and into the American Idol Season 8 Top 50 along with her talented husband Tom Korbee.
Husband Tom Korbee
Tom Korbee is a Cincinnati-born singer/songwriter, and has been recording an original pop/rock dual-disc album with Sound Image Entertainment and playing clubs in and around LA. Tom is a Founding member of the Garson Theatre Company in Santa Fe.
Recent theatre credits include: Jedediah Schultz in The Laramie Project, “the young man” in the world premiere off-Broadway cast of Showtune: The Jerry Herman Songbook at the York Theatre, the Helen Hayes Theatre, and in the Original Cast Album; Ralph Clark in Our Country’s Good (Dir. Nick Mangano); Woody in Six Degrees of Separation; Alonso in The Tempest; John in Fifth of July; Adam in As You Like It; and Jeremy Finch (u/s) in To Kill a Mockingbird at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
As a writer, Tom has created and starred in two original musicals, Shades and Will It Ever Stop Raining? (Dir. Richard Hess). Tom has a BFA in Drama from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
