American Idol Season 6 Winner is … 
The two hour finale of American Idol Season 6 came to a close tonight 5-23-07 on Fox TV. Much speculation that a landslide victory for Jordin Sparks was inevitable.
The American Idol Season 6 Final took place inside the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California, with over 3000 people in attendance, including many TV and Movie Stars. Ryan Seacrest stated that over 160 Million people would be watching the Idol Final. The most ever voted were recorded for the final performances on 5-22-07 that brought in over 74 Million votes from viewers phone calls and text messages.
After a two hour variety show, which included the former 10 voted off idols, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stephanie, Tony Bennett, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Doug E Fresh, and many others the announcement everyone was waiting for and expected.
Blake Lewis was Voted Off American Idol and Jordin Sparks was declared the 2007 American Idol Season 6 winner.

Well you lost my viewing cause I thought she shoulda been gone weeks ago and she only is in cause… well SOME PEOPLE NOT ME THINK YEAH THINK!!! she is cute. anyway not like my or anyones viewing matters anyway cause its all a big crock a !#@%

OH MY GOSH you guys!!! Jordin was soooo going to win! I was sooo hoping for blake to lose! BLAKE SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of youguys who liked blake SUCK!!!!!

blake knew jordin would win. we went to his party here in seattle and we watched him practice his songs and he told us either jordin or melinda will win. as long as he got his name put out there i’m sure he’s happy with 2nd place. most 2nd place winners seem to have more stardom post-Idol. jordin is a great singer but we need some change in the music industry. there’s always room for change and blake was a great change to american idol. it was a good loss blake!

i completly agree with ‘rach’ i live in bothell, and i go to the same school blake did =] im sure he is very happy because now he gets the chance to produce his own sound for his record. i think he will be more successful than jordin though, but thats okay. oh, and his parade was amazing, there were so many people there…

NONE OF THEM DESERVE IN THE FINAL AI THIS YEAR. IT SHOULD BELONG TO MELINDA AND I’M QUITE SURE SHE’LL BE SUCCEDING IN MUCIR INDUSTRY CAUSE SHE GOT EVERYTHING SHE NEEDS.

You don’t want to think that this show was rigged from the beginning? Go to yahoo and type in “Idol rocked by Jordin Sparks controversies!” You will see (Surprise!!) pix of Jordin with Simon and Randy taken in 2004! Yeah, Right! They never heard of Jordin Sparks before she auditioned in Seattle! I believe that don’t you? The article also talks about all the “connections” that Jordin has with Coke and Ford! I am not saying that Jordin doesn’t have some talent but come on last night she was not good in her duet with Reuben! Melinda and Lakisha rocked with Gladys Knight! Those are the two that should have been the final two! But of course this was a singing contest and we all now that those two can’t sing at all. Jordin will be marketed but she will not be in the same league as Carrie or Kelly. I knew weeks ago that Jordin was the chosen one but it all had to be played out. She had to be in the final with a lesser singer (no offense to Blake) in order to win, so Lakisha and Melinda had to be cut because they would have blown her out of the water! I will not buy any Jordin cd’s but I will buy Melinda and Lakisha cd’s! All I can say is good luck Jordin you may have the title American Idol but you didn’t win a place in my cd player!

I totally agree that this whole show is rigged. It’s been a while since the best singer has won the title. Melinda was hands down the strongest vocally as well as stage presence which is definitly as important. All I have 2 say is after seeing this disappointment I will not be auditioning for idol like my family and friends have pushed 4 me 2 do. I will also never waste my time watching the show again either.
