Reed Grimm, from Ellsworth, WI, auditioned for American Idol Season 11 in Pittsburgh, PA. Reed was able to perform for the Idol judges after his sister gave him a Dream Ticket for American Idol she won at Disney World.

Reed Grimm has been performing since the age of two and is in a band called Shoeless Revolution. He is also the former lead singer of Three Beers to Dubuque.

Grimm studied music and philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Reed Grimm performed the Family Matters theme as his audition, which the judges called “genius” and “crazy”.

Reed Grimm is the cousin of American Idol Season 10 contestant Caleb Hawley. Grimm is a rumored Top 24 contestant for American Idol Season 11.
