Mary Powers was a punk rocker chick who sang “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar at the American Idol 9 Los Angeles auditions. Simon thought she was a bit cliche, though guest judge Avril Lavigne loved her. I thought she was okay, but I don’t see her making it very far. But her cynical little 8-year-old daughter was awesome!
You know who would be really awesome on American Idol? Not Mary Powers. Not Austin Powers. KENNY POWERS. He would freakin’ OWN American Idol.
What did you think of Mary?

Mary is probably the worst singer to make it this far ever. I am relieved she is gone. There is a higher power! Thank you thank you thank you! She is a greasy Pink copy no talent control freak!
