Hmm. I still don’t really remember Mallorie Haley, but I think it was because I was still writing about Guitar Girl and how Mary J. Blige was a total B-word to her for no reason! I mean, c’mon. There are thousands of people there. You have to dress crazy to get noticed. You can be a good singer and not even be seen as being interesting enough to get your own minute of air time. And just like Mallorie, who was rationally dressed, therefore got less airtime. And therefore I remember her less. She sang a country version of “Piece of my Heart”.
