There is MORE baby news in the land of American Idol. LaKisha Jones from Season 6 had a baby girl, Ava LaRynn Davis, September 16th, 2009. I don’t really remember her from Idol. I think she was in 3rd place or something like that?
She sent out a Tweet saying:
“Baby Ava LaRynn has been born !! She was late but so worth the wait. At home getting back into baby mode, it’s been 6yrs.”
Between Bo Bice expecting his 3rd kid… Jennifer Hudson just having her baby and now Lakisha? I expect Adam Lambert to be next on the baby boomers list. Hey, it happened to Clay Aiken didn’t it?
American Idol is a bad place to be if THAT’S what happens. Remind me to never go on that show. Lolz!

LaKisha made it all the way to Top 4 in Season 6 and she is most memorable for her version of Jennifer Holliday’s ‘And I Am Telling You’ as well as remaking Bon Jovi’s ‘This Ain’t a Love Song’ into a more soulful version. Afterwhich Simon said “I could kiss you!” and he did!
