On the 29th of June American Idol is going to show a Special on the night the Top 13 Contestants did Michael Jackson Week. They have never done this before. As you probably guessed, it’s going to be a tribute to “The King of Pop”.
The one thing I will say is, DON’T TRY TO VOTE. Well, you can try, but it won’t work.
This may be good for the Top 13, since most of us forgot them (for good reasons), now they can be seen another time to get their name out there some more. Of course that is not what the Special is about. It’s about the passing of MJ who died on June 25th, 2009.
He was a unique dude that shrived to be white, I mean didn’t care if you were black or white, but I’m sure the Idols feel privileged to have done his music.

I didn’t really get the whole tribute to Micheal Jackson. He was just a guy that went from black to white, from pop star to druggie and other things I don’t even want to think about. I will say he did do allot with charity and helping sick kids. I have black friends, and I love them for all that they are. There is no reason for me to not, because we live in 2009 – there is not much discrimination anymore. There is no reason to need or want to change how you were made. What did Micheal Jackson do to kids that looked up to him? African American kids at that? All he did was show them that being “of color” was uncool. He might have not thought that way, but others did…
