Shaggy haired, rocker dude Constantine Maroulis performed on the Tony’s. Here I thought he had fallen off into the Ex-wannbe American Idol Lands but NO, he is back. Or maybe he didn’t leave? Apparently he is doing this musical with Bret Michaels (Star of ‘Rock of Love’) and the musical is called “Rock of Ages”. ‘Maroulis was up for an award for it, but lost to Billy Elliott that won the Tony Award for the Best Performance by a Lead Actor in a Musical. Still, getting put up for a TONY is still really cool.

I wondered what happened to Constantine, I guess I know now. I could have gone along time without knowing because when I saw the video, I ALMOST wanted to gag. He said in an Interview “He loves the Musical life and always wanted to do it”. At least he is doing something that makes him happy. That’s all that matters, right?
My Mom just thought he was the cutest thing when she saw him (Ew!), so I’m sure she will be over watching that video.
What do you think about that? It was a little cheesy, no?

“Cheesy”? That’s just the standout duet from Rock of Ages, the hottest show on Broadway, is all. (No, Bret Michaels is not in the show.) Constantine never left show business after Idol. He’s been constantly acting in Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, doing TV, touring, putting out his CD, doing many charity events. Check out his My Space and Facebook pages to find out more. I’ve seen Rock of Ages once off Broadway and twice on Broadway and it Rocks! It’s a funny, musical love story and Constantine is fantastic. I wish him much success. I might just see it again!

Check it out, go try out for American Idol, make it a little ways, loose and then get put up for a TONY. that’s it how cool ppl do it.

Ya know, oddly enough. Now I want to go see a show on Broadway. I have no idea why, I’m sure it would be an interesting experience. And that is stuff I didn’t know about Constantine. Lolz! Thanks for sharing. :]
